I think maybe this should be in the "2 cents" section, but yeah, my spirits have been high lately from all the news. Who knows? Maybe we really are at the end of this, but more importantly, maybe Iraq is finally at the end of this. I just got to thinking about it earlier. We sit here on equipment in the AC speculating the Dinar, and for the most part, we're going to be fine either way. People over there live in poverty and their condition is pitiful at best. The notes they hold over there are so tattered, I wouldn't spit a wad of chewing gum in it with confidence. They need it more than we do, and the fact that each day drags on with those poor people wondering if they'll have enough to eat for the day is shocking. I will be happy, of course, if and when it does happen, so that I can live comfortably, but I will always be able to crack a smile, knowing that those people who had to deal with so much garbage can lift up their eyes and know that everything is going to be okay. What a day in history that would be.

The "cold dead hands" thing came from Charlton Heston. And oh really? They really are dumb. So you're telling me that the supply of Mosin Nagants is going to dry up now? Because that scary old bolt action rifle with a 5 round capacity has been used in so many mass shootings. They're doing for the AKs, mostly. That's my opinion. But I don't really understand it, they're saying you cannot import military surplus rifles? Well technically, that would only cover fully automatic variants of AKs and such, and then old bolt action and semi autos from days past. Another fine example of willful ignorance.
