As long as these guys are allowed to spread their venom, everyone who reads their stuff will be wide open for rampant fraud and lies. They're nothing but "drive by shooters" -- no real identity, can do or say anything with impunity, and zero accountability.

What readers have done is legitimized the "gurus" by reading and listening to their "reports." I refuse to demonize anyone for following (or at least reading) their posts, (because I am also guilty) but seriously, their prophetic words have been totally wrong for months and even years. By doing this they prey on the hopes and expectations of thousands of innocents who are grasping for information. Not to attempt to be super spiritual, but if any of these gurus were prophets from the Biblical Old Testament, they would be judged by one simple thing: was their prophecy (prediction) true? And in the Old Testament, if a prophet missed the prediction ONE TIME, they were taken out of their city and stoned to death. I think there'd be a lot of guru stoning going on if these guys were held to the same standard. But, seriously, shame on them for taking advantage of anyone.

Adam, do you have an opinion (and if you do are you willing to share it here) about who the politicians are (both in Iraq and internationally) who may be playing a role in holding up the RV? And if so, what the advantages of doing so may be?

PP Rumors - Provost Marshals have the PP letters in preparation for the go ahead for distribution. I'm probably like all of you: I'm sick of these guys/girls spooning out all this crap. It's horrible that there are people who read this that are making serious life changing decisions based on what these "gurus" are saying. "Bernanke is about to be arrested????" (Not that he shouldn't be for SOMETHING....) Is there no accountability for what people say anymore?

English translation: when the Iraqis in control get their hands out of the "till," they'll think about RV'ing the dinar so that the poor Iraqi people (and the million or so of us) can get real value for the dinar we have.....but not until they get everything THEY want.....and their pockets full.....

Saw a post todayon another site.com with a list of CXI exchanges that are "involved" (or at least preparing for) a dinar RV. I'm a doubtful human, so I called the CXI listed in Houston. I asked the lady who answered, "Does your firm deal with exchanging Iraqi dinar at the revalued rate?" She immediately responded that they are. However that location does NOT have a Delarue machine, so they will "certify" any dinar I want to exchange, quote me a rate, then send it to their "home office" for verification of legitimacy, then pay. I did not take it any further than that. Maybe it is bogus....maybe it's legit. It's nice to know, however, that there's obviously a lot of conversation there about this all, because she immediately jumped in when asked my question. I'm NOT interested in cashing now...and I'm NOT interested in her sending dinar off for verification of legitimacy, so I'll just keep the number (and her name), wait for Adam's email/text (hopefully tomorrow), and then "get r' done".........in Belize!"

Start the RV at .86....let it post on FOREX, sell according to the market, and watch int'l investors run it up to $8-$10 in the first week or so (based on Iraqi reserves of oil, gas, and gold).....I'll see you in Belize for a fat Diamond Crown cigar smoke and a cold, cold adult beverage.......

Simple answer to "why would they announce in advance they're going to RV?": they are now on a world stage. They have billions of dinar in the hands of nations and international companies to whom they (Iraq) are indebted -- both literally AND figuratively. We're not the only ones anxious about seeing the RV happen -- these nations and companies are. He's sending a world message that says: "We've taken the first giant step to legitimize Iraq becoming a global economic power with a credible financial system. We are about to 'seal the deal.'" You think WE'RE anxious and nervous about RV -- what about China who owns TRILLIONS of dinar? You don't think they're making a few mid-east phone calls every day? Git 'er Done!!!!!!

Why would any of us believe what is being put out by the CBI? Is it not prudent to think that just maybe, there are a "few" people at the CBI that are making/publishing whatever policies are best for them, including putting out dis-information that will discourage rapid investment in dinar because "it's going to be a while before RV." As dishonest as some may be, I guarantee they get the free market mantra "supply and demand."
