Tariff Law Postphoned for one yr Cabinet approves bill to postpone the application of customs tariff law. 26/06/2012 15:52:00 Baghdad / NINA /– Council of Ministers approved in its session today a bill to postpone the implementation of customs tariff law until the appropriate conditions allow its application. A statement by government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said : “The Council of Ministers approved informing the Secretariat of the United Nations through the Foreign affairs Ministry to extend the mandate of the United Nations Mission in Iraq to help for an additional a whole year. Baghdad (News) … The Council of Ministers decided, at its normal (27) held Tuesday, postponed the application of the law of customs tariff until conditions apply. He said the Government spokesman, in a statement to Al-Dabbagh had received (News Agency news) on Tuesday, the Cabinet approved a Bill to postpone the application of the law of customs tariff when conditions applied to the statement of the Council of Ministers. Dabbagh said: that the Board approved the amendment of the decision of the Council of Ministers No. (347) for the year 2011 on the school building (200) in Baghdad and the provinces to amend paragraph 2 of the resolution and the extension of contracts for a period of 3 months due to delays in the receipt of employment and attendant technical measures that are calculated from date of direct action in month 12/2011 as well as the amendment to paragraph 5 of resolution to be met from the loans amounts remaining operational prior to the submission of final alzerah to work to give flexibility to the contractor in implementing Contractual obligations shall be calculated in accordance with the instructions of the delay fines on implementation of government contracts and no more than (10%) Of the contract amount. He noted: the meeting witnessed the approval to inform the Secretariat of the United Nations through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to extend the mandate of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq for one full year. Said: that the Cabinet decided to authorize the President of the national investment agency authority to negotiate and sign the draft agreement on investment promotion and protection between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Governments of the republics of Armenia and South Korea and Islamic Iran as amended by the State Council, based on article (80/item VI) of the Constitution with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs prepared a document authorization required on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Iraq to the President of the national investment agency in accordance with the approved contexts and submit them to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers to get signed by the President of the Council of Ministers. Dabbagh said: the Ministry of youth and sports gift for backup tools (Scania), total value € (194.977.073) to the Ministry of electricity on the basis of the provisions of article (5/c) instructions implementing the federal budget for fiscal year 2012.
