  1. IMHO anyone who claims to have intel is lying or mis-informed. Think about it, I would imagine IF a revalue were in teh works only a few people high up in the Iraqi government would know. It's not something some average Joe on the internet from his couch is going to know about. I think the fact that for years everyone claiming to have intel has been wrong pretty much backs up that sentiment. Again, IF a revalue is going to happen I can pretty much gurantee you and I will not know about it until after its done. Now sure maybe right before it happens hours we may hear about Iraq getting out of chapter 6 sanctions or being accepted into the IMF but it's not something we are really going to have any leadtime to buy more Dinar or anything like that Don't you think it seems wierd that everyone has all this special intel but it's always very vague and they can never tell you where they got this intel from. Also going on a decade of all this intel being incorrect as well. If something is going to happen its going to happen with no notice.
  2. If you have an ebay account you can probably get about $950 after fees probably wind up wiht at least 900 which is pretty good.
  3. There's some crazy rumors and stories floating around regarding uncirculated vs circulated DInar. I remember some guy on this forum or another was trying to say uncirculated dinar was IQN and circulated was IQD. WEnt on to say that uncirculated notes were backed by gold and circulated was not. With that logic if I take my uncircualted DInar and bend it in half now all the sudden it becomes a new currency and is no longer backed by gold? That just sounds crazy and makes no sense. There is no truth to the fact that uncirculated is worth more, however that said some countries are very picky about what type of notes they will accept. Many countries even the smallest tear in a bill and nobody will take it. SOme countries any ink marks on a bill and nobody will take it. This is true of many south american countries like Peru, Guatemala, and others. Below I posted a link to a trip advisor forum where people are discussing this very issue. THis is true of many currencies and countries around the world in terms of them being picky about what notes they accept. I don't know how picky Iraq is or what makes a note not passable but this could be a minor concern http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g294311-i818-k6472216-Only_flawless_dollars_bills_acceptable_for_exchange_in_Peru-Peru.html
  4. Did you actually wind up getting paid $850 or a lower amount? I know DinarTrade and a few other dealers used to offer $850 but once you actually sent the Dinar in you would typically get a call that for one reaosn or another they dropped the price to $800 or $775 or something like that. Oh your notes are out of order or oh you didn't give us your proof of purchase. If you actually got the full $850 thats by far the best price out there as most dealers are at $780 or so.
  5. I know this whole ebola scare has been affecting the stock market. I was curious if this ebola stuff will have any affect on the Dinar, Dong, etc or none at all?
  6. I was just curious what all the hype was with the Zimbabwe dollar? Not much info out there about it. I know with DInar people point to historical values or talk of oil and gold. What does Zimbabwe have going for it?
  7. I was under the impression it wasn't "pegged" since they are not part of IMF, still are under sanctions, isn't traded on forex and is sold by auction as opposed to a float like most pegged currencies.
  8. Yeah I think the bankers get really annoyed, they literally will have the same individual calling them 4,5, 6 times a day, has the rate changed yet, do your computers show the new rate, I'm comming in tomorrow I wanna talk to a wealth manager, etc. The Dinar isn't a scam, it's all about expectations. If you expect to make 47 million Dollars off a $1,000 investment then you are in for disapointment. If you think maybe that DInar you paid a grand for will be worth 2k or 3k a few years down the road, well that could be a possibility. Anyone who's been in this thing since say 2004 or 2005 probably paid $500 or less for tehir dinars and could sell today for $800 hardly a scam, not the windfall we hoped for buck a $300-$400 profit per million is money in the bank. The poor saps who think they are going to pay for their kids education, their retirement, etc with teh DInar are in for disapointment I believe.
  9. I see they advertise $825 per million which seems to be by far the best price around. Did you wind up getting the full $825? Just curious as if so thats a great deal and will recommend them to any friends thinking about selling.
  10. I wasn't aware they were closed? I just checked their site don't see anytihng. Are you referring to there not being auctions for a few days or was site down or was there news about banks being closed?
  11. Wells Fargo has a youtube video up a while back basically stating we do not buy dinar nor do we have any plans to in the future. Any bank who says emphatically we never will is basically just saying that so you leave them alone and don't call them 3x a week asking if they are now dealing with it. Some banks don't deal with foreign currency period, some only deal with Euros and Pounds or a few common ones like canadian. ANy bank who deals with Dong could potentially in the future deal with Dinar, heck banks used to deal with dinar but with it not being traded probably don't want to hold it. Basically like another poster said don't bother banks until you know something concrete has happenned with value and better yet don't bother until the dinar is on forex tehn call around and see who deals it and the best rate dont bother them until then though
  12. Not in the market for more DInar but this is a fantastic price. If you wind up trying to sell to a dealer I'd recommend checking with one of the smaller dealers. Seems the big guys like DT and Sterling don't care about denom and just buy for a flat price where as the smaller dealers will often pay a small premium for the smaller stuff. Someone else recently did a selloff with CashForDinars if they report back good stuff maybe give them a call and see waht they'd offer
  13. They are legit, they are registered and payout however I have had a few friends call and $825 is basically just to give you a call, actual payout price seems to be more like $800 if not $780. They are legit though. Just a heads up about using BBB as a defining thing of wehther a business is legit. In the past BBB was kind of the place to go. These days BBB isn't that well respected. It's basically an extortion racket. If a business is willing to pay $500 to $700 you get a BBB seal and good rating, if you don't pay you basically have no record with them unless you have complaints. Moral of the story if someone has complaints be wary but don't be scared away that someone isn't hooked up with BBB as all it means is that they were willing to shell out money.
  14. Here is my understanding of the Kuwaiti DInar and the charts seem to back this. The Kuwaiti DInar DID NOT REVALUE!!! I stress that DID NOT REVALUE!!!! This is how it's been explained to me and the charts seem to back this up. So when Saddam Hussain was invading Kuwait the Kuwaiti people essentially thought their country was no more, meaning their currency was essentially worthless. People were fleeing, especially in border areas. Some people were selling their Kuwaiti Dinar in the streets for pennis on the Dollar so where as the Kuwaiti DInar was worth a couple bucks they were selling it for maybe 0.10 cents or something like that just for sake of the story. A few saavy people swooped up all this Kuwaiti DInar for pennies on the DInar. Had Saddam not been pushed out the currency probably would have become worthless and Kuwait would have been no more as a country, however the US pushed him out, those saavy people who picked up Kuwaiti Dinar at 0.10 cents now were able to cash it in for the value it was all along $2.50 or something like that and they made buckets of money. Banks closed for a couple days when this happened but the official rate never actually dropped to something really low. Just an analogy for anyone who isn't following. Say Canada invades the US. People living in border states like Minnesota, Michigan, New York, etc say heck I gotta get out of here. THey sell their Dollars for like 0.10 cents in canadian money figuring I'll scrape together some money and get the hell out of here. Just for the sake of this story Mexico comes in and drives Canada out of the US. The US isn't overtaken and keeps its value it had all along. The few people who were in the right place at the right time, that being border states and bought up peoples dollars make out good. This is how several intelligent people who seem to know about banking and finance and world events have explained it to me and if you look at histoircal currency charts this seems to be backed up by the charts as well.
  15. I had a buddy who ran into that problem when trying to sell to DInarTrade and Sterling they woudln't buy from him. I know a few dealers of the top of my head who buy from pretty much anyone as long as notes are legit DealOrBuyDinar.Com, BuyIraqiDinarHere.Com, CashForDInars.Com. I believe all are paying around $800 or there abouts and can probably get your money quick assuming your willing to drop down to $800.
  16. Hans't been any action on this board in a while. Anyone got any hot penny stocks they like? so much for the mj stuff most of that tanked
  17. everyone laughed at me when i posted a quesiton about why nobody wants 10k notes. i see every other thread getting plenty of attention and this one getting a bump and low and behold its 10k notes. hmm maybe i was onto something.
  18. Was like what a pointless stupid thread until I googleed women figher pilots and saw UAE first female fighter pilot bombing isis. Should have givena bit more background. WOmen fighter pilots don't are probably easier than women in the field for hygene reasons as well as women and men not working in close quarters in a warezone and all that other stuff but what happens if this women is shot down and taken captive. We don't negotiate for the most part for men taken captive, if a women is being raped and tortured are we going to agree to prisoner releases and things like that because the country can't stomach a women being in that situation like they can a man? I know its UAE and not USA but just saying.
  19. I think your kind of stretching here, with that logic any hustband who ever bought a diamond engagement ring has dealt in blood money, if your pension holds energy stocks your destroying the environment and contributing to unrest in the middle east, if you buy chines products your contributing to the decline of America. Were not killing people we simply are speculating on a currency. Thanks though.
  20. I used to receive a lot of e-mail specials via e-mail from Dinar dealers. I'm not necessarily in the market for more but occasionally if a great special comes along I might pick something up. SOme of the best recent ones I've seen were from DealOrBuyDinar however most dealers occasionally email out a special. Anyhow I think the last two I bought were circulated Dinar for like $860 per mill I picked up a million and also they ran a special on 500 notes for $1100 a mill which was about $800 cheaper than any other dealer had them for so jumped on that one as well. Just thought it might be worthwhile having a thread dedicated to specials and sales where we could share promo codes or coupon codes if there's any real great specials going on.
  21. Hey thanks for all the comments. Ya totally in agreement Dinar is DInar whether 50 or 25,000. The only logical reason I can see why someone would want small notes is either A. they buy into the hype that Iraq will wipe out say 25,000 notes and keep the smaller which is not going to happen or b. they think a big rv will occur and want to be able to cash out in amounts under 10k to cheat taxes. I wasn't saying one note is better than another, it just seems everyone I know has either 25,000 denoms or 5,000 denoms, even on the classifieds here 10ks seem to be the least posted or note being resold. I was just curious why this was, seems people either lean towards 5k or 25k. who knows.
  22. A country can't just decide to rv, they have to have an economy to back that value. Also as I mentioned in another post on the whole concept of an rv. In the USA you see how politicans, busineses powerful people always find a way to enrich themselves as the expense of the middle class and joe schmos. When ever has a country, government, powerful people gone out of their way to just enrich the masses? I've said since day one a "rv" as in an overnight explosion in value would never happen, you are investing hoping that it goes up either slowly or even rapidly overtime but there's no magic button someone has the power to push that will make an entire country wealthy.
