  1. Yes, Iraq has been in bad shape since Saddam raped and pillaged his own country. But oil hasn't been in the $20 range for over 20 years, and there hasn't been a global pandemic for 100 years. So I think this very sad article is true. Luckily, Iraq has deliberately undervalued their currency for many years and now has the ability to increase the rate which will immediately give them a lot of much needed purchasing power. And hopefully they'll make constructive changes with their government and get on the road to a real recovery, despite these dire times. And I hope and pray the coronovirus will not ravage Iraq the way it has Iran.
  2. I don't think this thread is reworded BS from previous years at all. The reasons I say that are because... 1) the ISX has never been closed for 3 weeks and then set to reopen on an Easter before, that I know of anyway 2) the CBI auctions have not also been halted at the same time the ISX is closed for a very long time, if ever - at least as far as I know 3) the price of oil hasn't been $20 something per barrel in over 20 years 4) there's never been a global pandemic shutting down businesses all over the world that causes an oil glut like the one we're currently experiencing 5) Russia and Saudi Arabia have never both gone all-in on an oil price war before 6) Iraq is now better poised to make real change and hopefully remove at least some government corruption and provide better quality of life for their people (including creating jobs that the young protestors are demanding) than they have been for a very long time These things are not some guru's BS. These things are verifiable facts that are reported in the news. While they don't collectively prove that the RV is set for Easter, if I look at the whole picture objectively, I see a good chance that the RV is about to pop. It might be before Easter, or perhaps after, but keeping the ISX closed until Easter seems pretty significant to me. And I really think, with the low oil prices and the coronavirus, that Iraq's best option to make up for their ongoing HUGE losses (which amounts to $30+/barrel since they need $56-$58/barrel to run their country) is to RV. No one has to agree with my viewpoint, but I don't think anyone can say all these things are merely some guru's BS opinion.
  3. Bigwave, do you know if eating natural sugars, like maple syrup (or sugar), honey, agave, amd stevia do the same thing in the body? And what about fruits? thanks
  4. In a perfect world, this whole thing would be good triumphing over evil and Trump draining the swamp and arresting O, Hillarious, et all. But at this point, no one really knows. But irrespect of that, I still say Iraq is poised to RV. Iraq desperately needs to RV now to compensate for these low oil prices and now it has to battle the coronavirus. The government looks to be on steady ground now so there are a lot of reasons to think they are planning to RV soon. Heck, we've been watching all the things they accomplished during that time so we all pretty much feel they're on the verge of it. At this point, the sooner they do, the less money they lose and that's gotta be a huge motivator. The stoppage or the auctions and ISX suggested that something could be going on, and as these stoppages continue, that makes even more sense. If these two brokerages were notified the ISX will be closed for another 2 weeks after it was supposed to reopen on Tuesday, Iraq just might have left us a clue about their target date for the RV. Time will tell in two weeks. But in the meantime, at least we have a really good dose of hopium to help us wait.
  5. YIKES!!! 1 level teaspoon of sugar is 4 grams, and only consuming only 5 grams lowers your immunity 50% for the next 5 hours. No wonder everyone is so sick. This is important information to keep in mind - for the rest of our lives!!
  6. I think this post belongs in the Politics section. This section is for Dinar Rumors
  7. I don't trust everything this guy says by any means, but he at least seems to think for himself and I think he makes sense a good percentage of the time. Sure's he's been wrong a couple of times when he's called the RV, but heck, who hasn't, so I don't hold that against him. If he's right that the two brokerage firms were notified that the ISX won't open until April 12th, then this just might be RV. I don't think the part of tying it in with Trump's trying to open up the US economy on Easter is true, but that certainly does not mean that Easter is not Iraq's target date. After all, we know Iraq needs to do it and they've halted their auctions and closed their stock exchange for a while now. I sure hope that's because Iraq is getting their financial system set up so that they can finally pull the trigger on Easter. Come on Iraq..... GOOOOOO RV!!! 3-27-2020 Newshound Guru Jeff ...this is a brokerage firm [Al Karmal]... they're affiliated with the ISX stock trading. They received a correspondent from the main government of Iraq...Quote "The trading session will be held on 12th April 2020 as the ISX announcement today"...the bottom sentence says the trading session will be held on April 12th...There's another securities company that said the same thing. It's an official announcement from another securities company - Rabee Securities...Quote "...the next trading session will resume on April 12th"...this is two official email releases. Two stock traders...one brokerage. One securities...that's huge. Remember the U.S. did not stop trading stocks within the U.S. Not one other country has stopped electronic trading due to coronavirus yet Iraq has...Iraq's economy to reopen exactly on the same time frame that Donald Trump has. Trump has Iraq's economy timed with our economy...I have now confirmed to you with solid factual proof that all of the [Iraq's] financial markets are going to be closed for a period of 4 weeks...the longest I've ever seen their ISX shut down in 11 years is no more than a week...this is huge confirming news...
  8. I knew Spain was bad with coronavirus, but this is shocking. Thank God the US has Trump, but some states like New York, California, Washington and others have really bad leadership. Please read the other posts here about how to use high dose Vitamin C and other things like Chaga mushroom to fortify your immune system.
  9. Can someone post a link to this on wikipedia? Thanks
  10. Lucky for Iraq, they, unlike other countries, have a way out. All they have to do is stop deliberately keeping the rate on their currency way below its market rate. Come on Iraq, you know you should!!!
  11. BRAVO!!!!! So well done and the instrumental section is a hoot!
  12. I just now watched this. I am familiar with the guy on the left, Jeff. He certainly seems knowledgeable and makes sense, though I can't say I agree with everything he says. I guess we'll see this week if his conclusions are correct or not. In any event a nice bit of hopium for the next few days!!!
  13. Very interesting..... I think Trump really does want the US to stop interfering in other countries affairs and stop the US regime change programs. And I personally agree with that. However, given the conditions with the global coronavirus pandemic, and with Iran still bombing US military bases in Iraq, perhaps something like this would be acceptable to him right now. The Iraqi people are serious about getting rid of Iranian influence in their government, but after 6+ months of trying, not much is happening with that. If there was ever justification for the US to go in and support regime change in another country, I think this would be it. So far this is basically just a rumor, but I"m definitely going to watch this to see what happens. The US is responsible for much or Iraq's desperate situation and it would be good if it could be part of helping them recover from it. I really don't think Trump would take advantage of the situation to loot and pillage the country like other people (for example Biden and his brother) have since the second Gulf War, so this might be a very good thing. jmho Thanks for sharing this Mary!
  14. YIKES!!! This is scary! If this is happening in Iran with a population of 83 million, what about other countries? I hope that the theory about ACE2 cells making certain groups of people more susceptible to catching the coronavirus than others ( link ) is true. Not that I would want one group of people to die more than others, but if that's how life works, I hope that at least this time it take out many of the ruthless leaders and jihadists in Iran I at least. Iran's Health Ministry's spokesman admits every 10 minutes an Iranian dies from coronavirus AND 50 new Iranians contract the virus every hour as he begs the people to following the government's "extreme scenario" warning to stay home. Despite that between Tuesday and Wednesday of this week Iran witnessed its biggest ever single-day spike in Covid-19 cases, authorities are still struggling to get everyone to observe quarantine and self-isolation measures, especially after throngs of hardline Shia demonstrators have gathered to protest the closure of two of the country's holiest shrines in the city of Qom. He further urged citizens to think about this extreme risk every time they break national directives and go out to visit people or travel to other cities. This as on Thursday the national number of cases climbed to 18,407 — a jump of 1,046 cases from the day prior. The death toll in Iran from the coronavirus outbreak has risen to 1,284, state media reported on Thursday, among those 149 people dying of the virus in the last 24 hours, with 1,046 new cases emerging. link
  15. 12 minute explanation of the 4 stages of the disease if you catch it. Includes the detailed protocol of how to use 4 inexpensive supplements to prevent infection as well as to quickly recover if you are infected. Based on the work of Clif High. There are reports from all over the world that Clif's protocols have saved lives and prevented infection. He is well schooled in Traditional Chinese Medicine and his recommendations are fairly inexpensive, easy to take and can be ordered online. However, supplies of some items are beginning to diminish so I encourage everyone to get some now and put yourself and loved ones on this simple supplement program.... It may literally save you or your loved one's life and/or help you avoid some horrible suffering and permanent lung damage (one many's hellish ordeal with coronavirus). Plus you will physically feel better/stronger and enjoy great peace of mind knowing you have hardened yourself and your loved ones from catching this insidious virus.
  16. This doctor in China gives instructions on how to take high dose Vitamin C to protect yourself from getting the coronavirus (7 minutes). We don't know when, or even if, a vaccine will become available, so because Vitamin C is readily available and inexpensive, it's a good thing to start taking now. There are many reports from health care providers in China who have been taking high dose Vitamin C who are not getting sick while many of their colleagues are. And Vitamin C won't hurt you. If you like this video, pass it on!!!. https://www.brighteon.com/d39fac11-7259-4ac7-9b63-4604cd6fb5f0 and from Clif HIgh....
  17. I think Iran is in trouble. Many people in their goverenment have already been infected with Coronavirus and it's possible that it can incubate up to 41 days (at least that was reported in China last month), so probably a lot more Iranian officials will get it. Also Iran just went to the IMF for a loan which you know means they've got to be really desperate. And just like the Chinese are starting to turn on their authoritarian government for its handling of the coronavirus, I think the Iranians will too. They'be been itching to get rid of them (remember the recent protests). So I hope for the sake of both countries, that this virus will be the catalyst for regime change. You're right that Iran wants to control Iraq, but I think they're gonna have their hands full trying to maintain their own country in the coming weeks. I also think that Iran would like to see the Iraqi dinar RV. They have access to IQD and if it RVd, it would immediately give Iran some much needed purchasing power. But with the Mid East, who really knows. But I personally am optimistic for the RV in the near future.
  18. I've never considered Adam a guru. But I guess now that you say that, for people outside this site, they probably do look at him that way. That thought just never occurred to me and honestly I meant no disrespect to him whatsoever. I just wanted to clarify that.
  19. Thanks Karsten! Thanks Screwball!! Yes correct not law but countries manipulating currencies will be tariffs starting April and will force countries manipulating their currencies including China as trump said China is the biggest! China will be hit stage 1 of trumps tariffs and American businesses will be able to claim back against us government! As trump said all countries will be on a level playing field some will adjust up and some down! Edited 5 hours ago by screwball This is from the link Karsten provided: The Trump administration said Thursday that it planned to penalize countries that undervalue their currencies, the latest effort to prevent foreign competitors from trying to undercut American producers and import cheap goods into the United States. So Trump simply is announcing how he plans to hurt other countries that are taking advantage of the US and hurting its producers. This obviously does not apply to Iraq so it has no bearing on the Iraqi dinar. I still say, despite low oil prices, the coronavirus and uncertainty about its government, Iraq can, and likely will, RV to compensate for the great loss in oil revenues. And I still say Iraq should be able to support something in at least the pennies, maybe even up to a buck.
  20. Excellent article. I think it should be pinned so that it will forever be on page 1 because it so clearly explains Iraq's situation.
  21. Nightmare Scenario: Iraq Detects Suspected Covid-19 Cases In Overcrowded Refugee Camp link War-torn regions of the Middle East remain hugely vulnerable for the spread of Covid-19 due to hundreds of thousands of families packed into often filthy temporary settlements already running low on basic staples for survival. And now a nightmare scenario is unfolding in Iraq as the United Nations has recorded the first suspected coronavirus cases inside an Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp. Refugee camp in northern Iraq, file image via The Telegraph. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) issued an alert in its latest humanitarian report this week, noting also the World Health Organization (WHO) has dispatched additional supplies and medical devices to Iraq amid broader closures of public spaces after at least 71 confirmed cases nationwide. But with millions of refugees in the region, especially along the Turkish-Syrian border, and after Erdogan has effectively 'opened the gates' on waves of migrants headed to Europe, the spark that could erupt an explosion of outbreaks in camps across the Middle East may have started. "Health officials in both countries remain under-equipped to deal with such a a reality that seems more possible with each passing day," the report added. And as Turkey continues to allow and even actively facilitate the passage of refugees and migrants into Greece and other EU states, the Covid-19 crisis currently shutting down entire countries in Europe is set to explode further. 😟😟😟😟😟😟😟
  22. Iran asking for help tells you it's really, really, bad now. And of course we already know the death toll is waaaaaay higher than 500. Iran Asks IMF For $5BN Emergency Loan As Death Toll Soars Near 500 link Citing vast shortages of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals due to US-led sanctions, Iran is urging IMF relief as it battles coronavirus to the tune of $5 billion. Days ago Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif accused President Trump on Twitter of "maliciously tightening US' illegal sanctions with aim of draining Iran's resources needed in the fight against Covid-19 — while our citizens are dying from it." Now he's urging immediate emergency aid: Iran has asked the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for emergency funding to help it fight the coronavirus outbreak, which has hit the Islamic Republic hard, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said in a tweet on Thursday. 23. Satellite images show mass graves dug in Iran ‘for coronavirus victims’ New satellite images of mass graves dug in the city of Qom have sparked concern about Iran’s growing number of coronavirus cases. In February, the Iranian government was accused of lying about the scale of the nation’s outbreak by a legislator in Qom, who said there had already been 50 deaths in the city. At the time, Iranian health ministry had claimed that only 12 people had died from Covid-19. Deputy health minister Iraj Harirchi ‘categorically denied’ the allegations, but later tested positive for the virus himself. Today, a spokesperson for the health ministry said the country’s death toll is at 429, with 10,075 positive cases of the virus. It is the worst affected nation in the Middle East. The satellite pictures, first reported by the New York Times, show two large burial trenches, each around 90 metres long, recently dug in Behesht-e Masoumeh cemetery, about 80 miles south of Tehran. This closer-up view shows two 90 metre trenches appearing at the site (Picture: Maxar) A pile of what appears to be lime can be seen in the photos (Picture: Maxar) Other pictures, published by Maxar Technologies, show much of the graveyard lying unused in October last year. But by the start of March, one previously half-filled quadrant appears to have now been completely filled up, while work is beginning on another unused section. Coronavirus Poland: Is it safe to travel to Warsaw, Krakow and other Polish cities? An analyst pointed out that piles of lime could also be seen in the images, the Washing Post reports. Authorities in Iran have previously confirmed the use of lime when burying coronavirus victims. Lime can be used to manage the decay and odour caused by mass graves. The expert also said the plots had been dug differently from other graves on the site, suggesting they could have been created hastily to keep up with the country’s growing death toll. In October last year, much of the graveyard was lying unused (Picture: Maxar) Images from March suggest it has been expanded in recent weeks (Picture: Maxar) Iranian authorities have been accused of lying about the coronavirus death toll (Picture: EPA ) Among the deaths in Iran from Covid-19 are members of parliament, a former diplomat and a senior adviser to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Earlier this week the World Health Organisation officially declared the spread of Covid-19 a pandemic, with director general Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stating that Italy and Iran are on the frontlines of the outbreak. Italy death toll jumps by 250 in one day to 1,266 However, the UK has been warned that we are just ‘four weeks’ behind Italy, with potentially already 10,000 infected with the virus. The government’s chief health advisor, Sir Patrick Vallance, said: ‘‘There are currently 590 cases that have been identified in the UK and there are more than 20 patients in intensive care units. If you calculate what that really means in terms of the total number, it is much more likely that we have between 5,000 and 10,000 people infected at the moment. ‘That is still a relatively small number.’ Sir Patrick made the comments during a press conference earlier today, in which Boris Johnson named Covid-19 the ‘worst public health crisis for a generation’. The Prime Minister also warned the British public that ‘many more families are going to lose loved ones before their time’.
