  1. He's headed for a C+ on the exam at best. He forgot the magic phrase "boots on the ground", as well as a lack of mention of "Three Letter Agencies".
  2. GIVING, it could be much worse. One of my coworkers' new smart phone was hit with a nasty bug (courtesy of another coworker) that set Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" as the ringtone. Took him days to get rid of it. LOL
  3. That lawyer, if his accusations are true, is stirring the pot with some very big dogs. I don't think the gov would do anything to him (and thus make him a martyr to tin-foil had wearing overly-medicated paranoid geeks everywhere), but the RV=$$$, and lots of it.
  4. If the letters are fake....wow that's a shock. Nobody ever posts hoaxes on the interwebz. LOL If the letters are legit, the lawyer will probably be......um...run over by a garbage truck...tomorrow morning. Either way, it comes to nothing, IMO.
  5. The thing about the $5+ rate numbers being thrown out kinda cracks me up. Not so much the speculation itself, but people's reactions to such a high number. They're essentially printing money by keystrokes on a computer. Is a 1200 fold return (i.e., @$1.00) really that much more credible than a 6000-fold return (i.e., @$5)? It would be like seeing Jesus feed 2000 people by miraculously multiplying the bread and fish, and then say, "But feed 5000? That's just crazy talk." It's all crazy talk. But something will happen... GO RV!!
  6. And we would have gotten away with it if it hadn't been for those meddling Bushes! Get real. Conspiracy theorists blaming Bush(es) for everything from 9/11 to the JFK's death is getting kinda old don't ya think? If the Bush family had that much power, you honestly think BHO would have been elected over McLame? Or Clinton would have gotten 2 terms? Seriously? This is as far out as some of the guru vomit that gets posted over here, and even less believable.
  7. You left out ">boots on the ground>friend in Dubai>" LOL....
  8. My wife and I mentioned the dinar (when we first bought) to several friends. Some were very skeptical and laughed it off, others (like my parents) bought lots of dinar. We don't talk about it to anyone that brushed it off, and only talk about it in very vague "maybe someday" terms with friends/family who are into it. It may sound really far out, but my wife and I have set an "out there" ultimate goal of giving away a million dollars to (fruitful and effective) ministries, relief organizations, and generally anyone we know who is really hurting and can't do for themselves. Almost any "nice" RV rate may well allow us to do it. Who knows? Tithe, pay the taxes, pay off all our debts, pool our money with my aging parents and buy a few acres of land, a couple decent used vehicles, and call it done. Everything else is gravy. Would it not be great to go through life working without the stress of debt, and doing things like carrying a wad of $50 Wal-Mart gift cards in your pocket to hand out to people who are really in need when they cross your path? I was blessed to survive a nasty bout of Guillain-Barre Syndrome, complete with near-total paralysis and many days hanging on in the ICU a few years back, and haven't had a bad day since. When you draw your last breath, all that money won't matter one bit, but what you've done with it certainly will.....
  9. Some words/phrases I'd just as soon never hear again when this is over: guru intel "it's a go" IMF WTO Maliki Ministers lop "just waiting on____" "got a phone call from a friend ______ "(fill in w/one: "in Iraq, in ME, who works for a certain gov agency, who works at a bank", etc.) "reliable sources" pumper We need to make a program or smartphone app that randomly throws these terms together to give you the "latest guru intel" at a touch of a button. No need to have it make any sense. LOL But get this - remember the Super Bowl commercial with the kid going around like Darth Vader, trying to zap everything but nothing happens? Then his dad hits the remote and starts the car when he zaps it with the his Jedi powers, and he's blown away when it actually starts? Statistically speaking, you just know some lying-through-his-teeth-delusional guru/pumper making up phony "intel" out of thin air is actually going to NAIL the exact date and rate of the RV. I just hope he gets so excited he jumps up, takes a nasty fall and ends up immobilized in traction with his mouth wired shut until just after the cash-in period expires.....
  10. Funny how some folks can see a post entitled something like "to all CHRISTIANS...." and then not only read it but post how it offends their non-Christian sensibilities. Pretty sharp, they are. Since we're in a spiritual/faith/dinar vein here, an interesting thing happened to my wife the other day. Long before we ever heard of a dinar, we had made a very specific list of things we'd like to do "if we ever have the money" , in order and by priority. You know- tithe, pay off all debts, get a few acres of land, give $XXX to that charity, build a new house, etc. We never discuss these things with anyone else, ever. So, she was asked to visit a friend's church (2 counties away, where she knew exactly one person in the building) on Sat. to give her short testimony about our son at a women's meeting. She told how we had tried for almost 2 years to have a baby, but doctors said nothing was working on her end. But God intervened and she became pregnant with our little miracle boy (now 13 months) almost to the day a minister prayed for us. Later on at the end of the service, a lady who she had never met before and who knew nothing about her (we live 50 miles away) came to her and asked her if she wanted___, ____,....right down our list of items, even down to the vehicles, horses, and how the bathrooms and bedrooms would be laid out in our dream house. She said that she was going to pray with my wife and God was going to give us those things in HIS timing. No mention of dinar, or investments, or our business. Just that "financial breakthrough is coming in the future." What does that mean? I don't know. Could be a HUGE increase in my business (would have to be huge). Could mean my great aunt in another state is almost ready to go on and she's willed us her some of her real estate as she claimed. Could be a nice dinar RV. Does it really even matter? Just gotta live my life the same anyway. It's all in God's hands.
  11. Todo, thanks for the great post, regardless of original sources. I actually heard a minister teaching some of the same key points a few months back. Babylon - the physical city "rebuilt" by Saddam - is/was totally unscathed during the war, and plays some role in future events concerning spiritual Babylon. He also breifly mentioned the dinar as well.
  12. My guess? It won't be tomorrow, and it may not be a very high rate - at first, anyway. I'm leaning on pure gut feeling that it'll be the first week of June for under a buck. Even $.01 will far and away rival the most spectacular return any investor will see in "normal investments, so $3 is Powerball-level. That said, this also has the feeling of being a once in a century deal, what with the insane amounts of $$ flying around the globe out of thin air ("quantitative easing" sound familiar?). With one fell swoop, the US and Iraq could tie up a bunch of loose ends, set Iraq on a track for absurd growth rates, backdoor more "quantitative easing" into the USD markets, and provide a nice stimulus. Not to mention the big bump in revenue from the 15% capital gains windfall. So hop to it, all you shady politicians! LOL..
  13. Been watching the whole dinar circus on and off since last year, and the wife and I finally set aside a nice chunk of $$$ and bought in a few months back. I'm amazed at the wild range of claims, characters, and emotions swirling around in dinarland. I guess money, or the promise of money, always brings out the worst, best, and crazy in people. Never seen so much BS since working as a farm hand at 14. The guy who got us into it is a friend of my father's who is a pretty average guy. Not flaky or squirrelly at all, and if the recommendation had come from anyone else, I would have ignored it as I had for years. He's been saying for the last 12 months that, according to the only "solid" info he's gotten, it'll RV around June of '11 for about $.56. He follows that up by laughing loudly and saying "even that is gonna be wrong! NOBODY knows!" So who knows? My wife and I want to pay off our debt, help some folks out, and spend more time with out little boy. One thing is for sure - SOMETHING is gonna happen sooner or later. The fundamentals of Iraq are primed for great growth. God Bless!
  14. It's a little late for the pumpers to be pumping, is it not? I mean, hearing that the RV is imminent is not going to make me run out and buy more in the next hour, and I doubt others will as well. I have plenty. What kind of idiotic thought process are these pumper driven by?
  15. Yep. I can't judge what's in his heart, but I can certainly judge his actions. Obama's "statement of faith" says Christian, but his behavior, stances, and policies are often directly and aggressively un-Christian or anti-Christian. His unquestioned support for abortion and homosexuality, saying "America is not a Christian nation" (which would be a huge surprise to our founding fathers), confiscating BILLIONS of $ that is not his and giving it to groups like ACORN (who routinely promote such wholesome activities as child prostitution, organized voter fraud, and all manner of blatantly illegal activity), repeatedly glorifying Islamic holidays like Ramadan while ignoring Christian ones like Easter, setting bureaucrats and union thugs loose on anyone who speaks out against him, etc. Outside of apparently being a good father and faithful husband, there is no evidence of Christian faith to be seen. But I do not believe he is Muslim. I believe his religion is simply political power, whatever the form. The biggest voices in his life were: mother (hippie), father (Muslim revolutionary), stepfather (Muslim revolutionary), Muslim school in Indonesia, Jeremiah Wright (20 years of Black Liberation theology), and a host of nice folks like Bill Ayers. So he has some sympathy for Islam, but he's mostly about himself. As for Perry Stone, he simply teaches the Bible from the perspective that: 1. the Bible was inspired by the Holy Spirit and was recorded entirely by Jewish people in the context of Jewish culture and must be read and understood that way, and 2. there are patterns, types, and shadows that have repeated throughout history ("The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun..") Most people who go nuts criticizing Perry Stone never have actually heard him teach. If you accept the premise that God exists, then you also have to accept the idea that He is, by definition, outside of time and omnipotent. He knows it all from to back.
  16. That guy obviously has some serious mental health issues. The way he weaves "Christianity" into into his writings while (apparently repeatedly and willfully) lying through his teeth kinda pisses me off. He'll be the one ultimately answering for that, and not to anyone here on the internet, or any of his fellow man. Poor schmuck. I guess all these pumpers have figured out that they can lie all they want about the RV being imminent for days, weeks, and apparently years, but they only get to be right ONCE and - boom - the party's over. No more need for them or interest in what they say. Back to anonymity.
  17. Wow. That kind of chat is just one horrific peek into bizarroland, what with the "intel", the 2 syllable sentences, infomercial level hype, grey alien conspiracy hokiness, and really bad grammar all mixed up in a blender and puked onto the interwebs. Hilarious and sad at once. As understandable as my 13 mo.-old son's jabbering, but at least my son knows what he's talking about. lol...
  18. I'll believe it's done when 1. I see it on forex and 2. the big bank downtown confirms the rate. All else is rubbish.
  19. "In 2005, Vice President Cheney gave 77 percent of his income to charity. He also shot a lawyer in the face, which I think should count for something." One of my favorite Ann Coulter quotes. God, how I wish Cheney were POTUS today...... Gotta love the Dos Equis guy too. My wife doesn't see the humor, but that's some of the funniest stuff on TV (show, commercial, anything) since Seinfeld went off the air. "Running on a treadmill is never as effective as running from lions."
  20. Agreed 100% If I ever hear the word "guru" one more time in my life, it's once too many. And it's not "intel". Intel is a microprocessor company. It's information, or "info". "Intel" implies a James Bond/paramilitary element to the writings of these clowns. Like a bunch of socially maladjusted losers in some massive online roleplaying game......RANT OVER. Sorry bout that. The latest RUMOR/SPECULATION I've heard from the guy who got me tuned into this is, "around June. About $.56. I don't know. Nobody but the folks making the call know, and anybody who says they do is either a liar or a fool. I'm probably a fool.." But he's been firm with the June date since last year. I was in a rush to buy last fall, but he told me and my wife not to hurry but to have all the dinar we were going to buy in hand by mid-May. Who knows... The people I also get a kick out of are the ones who readily accept the idea of $3.50 ($1000 into $3.5 million) or so, but laugh and point if someone else throws out $5+ ($1000 into $5+ million). As if that kind (@$3) of return on investment is not absurd enough in itself. It's like conspiracy nuts arguing over the eye color of Bigfoot. Don't get me wrong - anything over $.10 will make me ecstatic, but since they're creating fiat money out of thin air, why not just bump it on up there....lol The RV, like everything else, is in God's hands. No need for anyone to make it an idol.
