i think you guys missed the pain important part of this whoel article that attributes to our investment "Saw the dollar compared to the local currency surged during the past few days, which officials attributed to local banking companies stop Central Bank hard currency sales." remember they speak backwards of us.....so essitially they are talking about their currency(local currency)has surged during the oast few days compared to(against) the dollar because of the central bank stopping selling the dollars!! I hope im reading this right!!!!! anyone else seeing what im seeing!?

if the CBI server was down(the actual eletronic computer server).....you would not be able to ping the server(ip address). it means cbi's server is down....which is based in texas......which could mean that the CBI is now gonna take over its own website....maybe they have their own server in their central bank being that they have the best internet conenction and all...or it could be just that the server is down for maintenance, or the server could be down because of some attack......its not easy to say....but its def not because the host is having problems the host doesn't act as a gateway....the host has a gateway to each individual server......if they are virtual servers then an entire server could knock offline serval websites....but this occurance is very unlikely....but can happen my guess is that they are either changing server locations(cbi) or doing entire site wide maintenance or implementing new website

the site is not overloaded, its is totally down...your browser sends a request to the site, however CBI is not sending one back, meaning that the site is down....if it was lag due to overload, the site would send notice of request back but no data would be sent(website data). the CBI is down for some reason, but that reason is not server overload. coming from an uber computer geek
