What makes sense is this... When things seems the least likely it might be close. The news from IRAQ will do all they can to keep us from knowing or from it seeming like it will be happening. LIKE CHINA, the day before swore of never RVing and the next day it RVd. The nature of this beast. Yet look at many facts here. SO many which are simple easy to use logic. First, who put their currency in place? Who destroyed the old currency? Who helped them to have the current system? Last year we sent our own people to help them within the CBI. GW BUSh went there a few times in the last year. Hillarious went there. VP Biden went there. We protect their OIL transport in waters that IRAN is trying to block. We are the ones at the helm of so much. They have a currency which is very underinflated. The people there know the buying power of the money is weak. Yet, they also see the new malls going up. They have no electricity and yet they see the development. Things are moving VERY VERY fast in IRAQ. It is incredible and unstable in soem ways. You need to know that many suffer due to the current undervalue of the currency. THIS SIMPLY HAS TO TAKE PLACE. They know it and it will happen. How? that is a great question. Many believe in a straight RV. SOme in an RD. I think they will do both. I also believe they need to keep the value and honor the current currency due to the use for building currently. They have to honor the contracts. They are pumping out record oil and in the next year it will almost double. Some here speak doom and gloom and it simply isnt a current reality. People in IRAQ are very frustrated. They have been dealing with a lot for over 8 years post the old government. They have paid a big price for what they need. The government is like ours and many others. Everyone says there is corruption, and that is not hard to believe. They really dont think the saem way as we do. Many are also desperate and the oil keeps flowing. Who is most settled in contracts pumping the oil in IRAQ? THE GOOD OL USA. Use your brains people. Read all you can and form a solid internal conviction. Those who want out of this investment should leave. This is a speculation. IRAN could bomb IRAQ tomorrow. If it does then that will delay things. Many things can happen wrong but they arent. Stability is higher every day. If you step back and see what has been accomplished it is a lot. When you look at it day to day it seems a mess. AGAIN use your logic. IMHO it is patience for the long haul. The end is possibly closer than we might think. If I have to wait for one more year, I will. Peace all....

Well as you know, being so smart that a LOP is a term which cant be used in this type of economic situation. An RD can. Different things and definitions. So when I hear LOP and the new use for it I laugh. As for the doom and gloom, some times it gets a bit old. Not because of the information as much as the certainty people seem to think they have on this. The possibilities are endless. The potential for some of the doubters actually being correct exists. Yet, from everything I have found to understand, the potential for a nice outcome is also not far fetched. When I say that some say I am being too optimistic or dreaming. The facts are gray. The truth is not yet revealed. The current reality is that those who hold onto this currency have a choice of what to believe based on what they read or choose to accept, until it actually changes. At that point one of us will be more right. For your sake I hope I am right. Maybe your point of view is more realistic or grounded... who knows? Let me start with the USD. Our system was based on GOLD. Yet Nixon did away with that. When we need more currency we print more. The money was at one point bonds. You know this though, right? Remember the dollars with the blue stamp on them. We are not pegged to gold anymore with our currency. I am not even going into the GDP! But thanks for the attempt at my education. I will try to learn from you if I can. As for the old currency value, the worth was what was outside IRAQ which gave it value. A self imposed value doesn;t mean it is that value except internally. Many here seem to think they know how much currency is in circulation (IQD) and they peg that to OIL etc. Again, IMHO everyone is shooting from arbitrary non substanciated "facts." All these "facts" are really based on information which in my view is not accurate. If you know the trade and many factors which go into assessing a currency value, my ears are perked. So far though I just dont believe we are privied to this in detail. So are you adament about what you say WE KNOW or YOU believe? I think frustrated is a better word than upset...from me The things you say are based on partial truths and partial facts. You are not totally off the mark, but the proof of everything will be in what happens not what YOU or any of us has to say. You are trying very hard to use other facts in other situations to fit IRAQ and the conclusion of how their currency will change or not. There is no way to be sure of this. I think it is wise to use your type of reasoning rather than that of the pumper... Yet, as for the 1000 x RV, EVEN THAT you can;t be sure of one way or the other. You can think you know what you dont know about... If you have some keen inside knowledge, please impart that on me. Other wise it is not me who is here gloating about what CERTAINY will be or not.

Well as much as I agree with "part" of what you are saying, I will give you a country which the actual value is arbituary... THE US DOLLAR! Just sayin... LOL So, though you are making a nice point the truth is IRAQ is in a nice place for gain. Their dinar value was above 3.00 prior to the war. It was DEVALUED. Now, on their feetsome what, they are pumping more fuel than before and growth post Sadam has been exponential. Many things in this world might not seem plausable to us with our limited deep understanding and with hidden facts. Truth is as much as you might be right, You might also be wrong... RIGHT? Look, when you talk sensibly you get (+)'s... You are right it could be a replacement with no gain. I can think of many other scenerios on top of that one. I think that is intelligent (not certain) to expect it can RD and maybe 3.5% gain. The reason a LOP wont happen is due to definition, yet LOP is still thrown around to mean a loss. Yet your opinion is just that. I am hoping for better, but it doesn;t mean it will go that way. I believe you understand. Yet, to state that it definately will only do what the other countries have done with a small gain means little. It is a speculative look into what might happen. There are no facts for which we can base our expectation on this investment. This I believe is a bit unique from the others. Maybe the term SPECULATION needs to be understood further by some. Very well stated. Thank you. I am not trying to ride some high horse here. I am learning each time I come to this site. I also do wish peace on everyone here, especially in these economic times for most. We both know what a speculative market is. Most high risk situations can yeild a loss or a high yeild. The nature of this type of investment. Some just lack humility and respect. I am not the most educated person here, yet I watch those with some self proclaimed knowledge make rude or uneducated statements and it makes me sick. I believe in being realistic and truthful and I am not a pumper. I am simply a dinar holder with the hopes that based on some of my reasoning this will yeild well. If someone feels this wont yeild at all why invest in it? Wouldn't it be a wise choice to cash out and invest in something else and go to another site of their better investment and learn or exchange thoughts? It seems to me that a lot of bad attitudes are growing. Each of us has a choice of what we invest in and what we hope for and why. The BIG reality on this DINAR and its future is that not a single person knows what will happen. That my friend wont change until the day it goes into a new exchange, whatever that will be. I appreciate your post to me. I suppose after so much time, I get annoyed at some people who think they are in "the know" of a speculation. Doom and gloom is fine but why invest? I know attitude wont change facts. The issue to me is that those who think they have some additonal spin on the FACTS and dont... Well bothers me. Will this RV or RD who knows??? LOP is impossible due to the definition of a lop. Yet that term has been misused for a while now. I rather be in an investment which hangs on a fense of speculation and hope it goes well. Maybe that is my approach on life too. I choose to be around people who are REAL, but also optimistic. I am not too crazy about those who put their spin on numbers and articles as if they KNOW better... I almost always say IMHO. I dont know any better then anyone else. The true knowledge about what will happen on this investment are legally bound to not say a thing. REALISM or realistic expectations on this investment span a wide array due to the vast details involved in any assessment of it. Hi again. Respectfully we have disagreed before. I respect that and learn from it. This may very well RD. I just don't like the people who are all kinowing as if's. I dont have the video which was with Hillarious when in Washington DC around May or JUNE of last year. Yet, I also would not say something that BOLD myself without actually hearing it. If anyone here reads this and knows where that video is I wish they would post it here for you to see. I personally didnt say it. Yet, one of the many facts are that the USA placed their current currency into play. We want IRAQ to succeed for many reasons. Some are of course financial, but also political too. I wont post some things I heard from some people I know here. Everyone would be on it like bees on honey. Regardless of what I might THINK i know... In the end this will do what is best for IRAQ. I dont think they can afford to hurt or go backwards on current investors or their own people. I also believe this will do well. The difference is I might be wrong. I am so curious why so many all of a sudden want to doubt any hope of the IRAQI Dinar RVing? I have never in the last 2 years seen so much negative criticism. I am curious why? I personally wont sell my dinar until it does RV. I wont sell until I see some sure sign which points to this going up or down. We hang on so many things which are not yet accomplished. Maybe right, maybe not... We have to look at what a speculative investment is. This means there is a high risk to high yeild in this investment. Or high loss. Economics 101. As for GDP of IRAQ it is higher than what is currently positioned. It is also building daily. Maybe we are all sheep being marched to the edge of a cliff BUT WHY? Why would H. Clinton say last year at this time in 5 years IRAQ will pass up CHINA? Why would W. Bush say this war wont cost the USA one penny (knowing there are trillions in)? Why would he allow for us to buy IRAQI currency which we (he) put into play? So much has been said and we are not going to be told HEY WE WILL RV and make those outside our country rich! CHINA absolutely denied any change the day before they had their RV. Let me ask you a question, did people get rich when KUWAIT RV'd? I know this isnt the exact same. Yet the potential is much greater. Did you know that IRAQ has a large reserve of Gold? Oil is a big commodity but it isnt the only thing going for IRAQ. Did you see how many large companys and hotels are setting up in IRAQ? Businesses, agriculture, financial systems, all types of mining and believe it or not a build up of the cities for tourism. IRAQ is a very history rich place for tourism. You can check out all of this if you look at IRAQI news etc. In the end it is in the interest and as stated in numerous articles that an RV or REVALUE of their currency or drop the zero's will be done to help in trade. WIll this happen... Who knows? They said it would last year. Yet, it wont HURT Iraq to do this. When they choose a new value of their currency it will be a balanced trade on both sides of the trade in. The issue is will it be worth the new rate? If too low it hurts them or too high. New currency is due to the new rate. They have to print new currency if they do RV. That is a no brainer... I believe this will happen. It makes sense to me. Regardless of the "guru" or pumper etc., I am simply a dinar holder. With our economy the way it is I could use this in a big way. I dont expect it tomorrow. How long will I wait?
