Although this seems alarming I seriously dont believe it. Several months ago Kuwait and IRAQ were settled in debts. So this definately doesnt seem right to me either. The news and what appears these days as movement is SKETCHY at best. There is no definitive movement and that is a GREAT SIGN. A while back it was said that in a time when you cant be sure of anything the RV will be close. They dont want us to know or feel confident about an RV happening. It doesnt mean we wont have months to wait but surely I feel they are moving to have this resolved asap. They will be the ones to profit the most. Peace.

My response to all of this is: WE ALL HAVE OUR VIEW AS TO HOW THIS WILL or WONT RV... I respect your right to not agree with me. I might be as wrong as you are. LOL I dont think so but time will tell. Very few of you tend to impress me and many of you have changed your mind on rates, issues, events etc. I see this as a learning curve for all of us. Exactly correct! This is why they need to RV and soon. Their monitary system is very undervalued and trade is mostly done in USD. This is what is hurting them. When people here talk about money in curculation etc. it is a point of many in terms of evaluating an RV. Yet, confidence in IRAQ is high on a more global scale. Of course you knew this due to their many resources etc. This is why IRAN wants to put a monkey wrench in the system. IRAQ has a lot to offer aside from simply their metals and gems and oil and natural gas. HOTELS are being set up there from some of the biggest chains in the world. You knew this too, I take it. Do you realize how much has been accomplished just in the last year? Do you watch their stock trade? When they are opened up to the WTO they will explode in growth. This isnt just speculation from me. You really should check to see what companies are rallying to get into IRAQ. Aside from all of this I am stating you might want to listen to what H. Clinton said last year. I believe her words were that IRAQ will superceed CHINA in the next 5 years. Bush said a while ago that this war (which has cost the USA trillions) wont cost the USA one penny. Yet, I believe you might have your own research. I would be open to learning from any one here. The problem is many dont look into the news and read etc. The confidence is mainly internal struggle of which any new democracy suffers. Power struggles. Also security issues. MOST OF THESE CONCERNS ARE BEING BROUGHT UP DAILY and handled. Mainly we can sit back and read and watch with baited breath of the inevitable process of a change in their monitary system. It will RV. Its just a matter of a few more steps forward. All IMHO based on some facts and reading of which I dont fully trust... Yet when you step back and view the FACTS they paint a nice picture. PEACE

Although you have your point, I believe that it isnt a way to look at a rate. They are not on the pre war monitary system. We put the new system into play (the USA). The factors involved in an RV are much greater than simply their current monitary (currency) supply (in circulation). Also, once the rate is reset they do not need the CURRENCY to match the new rate as many think. This is due to many factors, such as electronic banking etc. One point you might want to think about or ponder is that the set rate is fixed on both sides of the trade. So if you trade in your currency the value of this currency is on both sides at trade in. THEY LOOSE NOTHING! Many do not understand this point when they make their RV evaluations. I believe it will be AROUND 1.00 - 1.20 only because from there it will FLOAT and go up. Too many reasons to state exactly why but if any one does their own due diligence of research they will understand. Yet, ultimately they will do what is best for IRAQ for trade confidence on both sides of the trade to stabilize their nation and become a power house in the ME. Their resources are under valued and the export of oil and natural gas is constantly rising. They will become a powerful nation. ALL IMHO. I expect after the RV that within 2-3 years the rate will be at least 3.00 We will see.... Peace....

Actually in the last year a lot has been done... We are much much close,r but I didnt realize how much was still on the table this time last year. My ignorance had me excited about an RV evey other week... LOL Everyone was saying it is coming soon and of course it didnt. So I too am much less excited by the daily raves of anyone. I do not trust the media releases out of IRAQ. The political schemes etc... are possibly lined with some truth, but my gut feeling is we are all on a ride. The less certain anything seems to be the more they can plan and decieve, until they pull the lever. When they appear to be the most idle is when most things have been accomplished. This has been true over and over again. We are all in a position to try and figure out what is purely SPECULATION. They wont allow anyone to know their definitive plan or they would be trampled on financially. THIS IS A POKER MATCH AND THEY HOLD THE CARDS. The USA is the house. We cant loose. That is my take on this minus many more details. PEACE my fellow DINAR holders. We will win and hopefully sooner than later. And dont you think they know this..? Well I certainly am at a loss as to what is holding this all up? IRAQ last year had a lot to do but at this point there just doesnt seem like too much should be slowing it down. Chapter 7 based on what I read should have or could have been lifted by now. It is as if so much has been slowed down to a crawl. For a while now I have thought and still feel that why would BUSH allow this currency into our trade if there wasn't some big plan involve?. Why would he allow us to trade or BUY their currency if there wasn't a clear indication of a benefit? Some of the nay sayers in my view make no sense based on so many facts like the one I just mentioned. I dont know if anyone here has time to impliment a time line on the things IRAQ has done in the last year, but that effort would send out a clear picture as to their stratigy and movement. So much has been done and many doors seem to have been opened for them to surge ahead. Let's hope that the time is drawing very near to this RV. A few years ago someone stated that when the time is close there will be a fog of doubt and news which will be contradictory of what is to be expected.... of course to throw off anyone from knowing the true date and time. Sanders with all due respect the heat has been on. I doubt we can even begin to know nearly much about wha tthey are holding off for... Yet, as much as they might have to do, it seems so much less than one year ago. It is possible they are holding this all at bay until they pull the trigger all at once... We can not know what the WTO is doing and if they have been accepted based on certain criteria. I have said this before but they are holding some nice playing cards and they can bluff this out only so long. To let their hand down now would be suicide for them. Here is my thought... They are setting everyone up to think they are trying to withhold the DINAR SALES in order to increase the Dinar value... "dinar against the dollar, by not selling hard currency few days in a row" BUT I am thinking it might be so everyone doesnt yell RV RV... Which might be exactly the reason for holding up currency sales. They dont want a red light flashed on them for their actions. It's a possible set up. We shall see... Go RV PEACE...
