This is not totally true. In the last 2 days there has been 2 charter flights arrive in Iraq from Dubai. I know this for a fact, no doubts. And as far as flights into Iraq you can book on line into Baghdad right now, no delays. If that is the case, then the airport is not closed. I'm not saying Iraq is not still messing with DOD contractors though because they are. They may not be giving out visas just yet but if you have a multi-entry visa you should be good to go. This is right on the mark. I am in the same vicinity as your location (Up or down the street) and I hear huge explosions every other day. I have been in this country since 2004 and have seen a lot of killing and destruction. I even have a photo with Donald Rumsfeld in 2004 at Fallujah. This place is unstable. I don't care what kind of picture the media paints. You actually have to be here to know these things though. I don't see any real democracy in this country ever. It does not fit in with Islam. Their religion dictates their lives and politics in the whole region.
