  1. The last article states, "Confirmed the legal committee member of the Parliamentary Hamdiya al-Husseini, said on Tuesday that some MPs absent objection and political blocs have prevented the enactment of the Federal Court Act" Looks like the bad actors know that once the Federal Court Act is enacted the rat killin' will begin. I suspected the Federal Court Act would be one of the most embattled pieces of legislation since the parliamentarian know the implications on them and their cohorts who helped gain them a seat in the parliament. Hopefully, Mousam, Abadi, and Jabouri gain the necessary support for implementing the necessary enactments very soon, like the Federal Court Act, with the support of the Iraqi clerics and people.
  2. The second to the last article above states, "He explained Amer that "the Central Bank Law No. 93 of 2004 and by Article 12, which relates to the establishment of indoor units to combat money laundering and bleached in all financial and banking institutions, so as to collect and analyze information to find out citizen corruption and hand money smuggling." And that "some politicians and owners of intervention influence banking work through the establishment of banks and companies, mostly fake and illegal for the purpose of speculation in the daily currency auction and make big profits twisted and illegal means." Amer stressed that "the central bank assumes full responsibility for the loss of billions of dollars and she went to the pockets of corrupt, so it should be a complete overhaul and restructuring of the banking and financial institutions are limiting the phenomenon of money laundering and smuggling abroad."" This is really good news to me. Looks like money laundering and smuggling of funds outside of Iraq will come to and end (as well as the CBI daily currency auctions), hopefully very soon. The collection and analysis of information aught to serve as a firm basis to indict and prosecute the corrupt. Hopefully the information can and will be used to retrieve those funds outside of Iraq and return them to the CBI. Other past articles have suggested foreign countries willing to return the smuggled funds back to Iraq. With the CBI assuming full responsibility, looks like (to me) an implication that Ali al-Allaq's (Nouri al-Maliki appointed CBI Governor) days are numbered, too.
  3. I would like to believe the articles that al-Baghdadi has met his ultimate demise. Unless his verifiable and undeniable body is produced (or pieces of what is left), I remain skeptical. If al-Baghdadi is really dead, the ISIS radicals may vie for control of what is left and become generally unstable temporarily but will ultimately reach the same end due to their risk taking. I suspect ISIS's end is near provide the ISIS extermination continues and will likely accelerate provided the pressure remains to continue.
  4. Yeah, BoosterBGlee, I was hoping Iraq would come to their centses very soon. I was really wanting Iraq to come to their dollars, but actually but I am OK with Iraq coming to their centses. Good Point!
  5. The second article from the top and the last article above state, "the recommendation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the opening of Consulate of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the province of Basra, according to the provisions of Article 26 of the Foreign Service Act Almrguen 45 in 2008 and the Republic of Iraq reserves the right to open honorary consulate in the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the future in accordance with the principle of reciprocity." This may be good news for the supply chain of information out of Iraq to the ICC in The Netherlands to indict and convict Iraqis culpable of crimes against humanity. Thinking out loud, this may be a necessary step to take the corrupt characters into custody in Iraq, route them to The Netherlands consulate in Iraq for initial processing, and then transport to The Netherlands in custody of the ICC.
  6. Luigi1 - This type of guru post has been made numerous times in the past and has never proven to be correct.
  7. I agree, Wiljor! One item I've been pondering is the timing of the ISIS extermination completion in relation to potentially removing Barzani and associates from office as well as expelling the Iranian militias (and Solemeini) from specifically the Kurdish region of Iraq and generally all of Iraq. My thought is Iraq needs to be solidly a social, political, and economic Sovereign State to provide a sustainable basis for the international value of the revalued IQD. Looks like the US, UN, Coalition, IMF, WB, etc. interactions and conditions have been geared to that end. I suspect Iran does not want a fully Sovereign Iraqi State fully integrated internationally since Iran's regional influence will then be immensely reduced and Iran will be influenced by Iraq and others rather than influencing via Iran's religious and political agenda. With the other initiatives to remove corruption from Iraq, I am thinking the move to remove corruption from the Kurdish region of Iraq will gain momentum in the near term like the rest of Iraq. Just my thoughts and opinion.
  8. Massoud Barzani is likely another corrupt character that needs to exit from the political positions since he should no longer be holding office because his term(s) of holding the Presidency has reached its limit(s). Maybe, this would aid in unifying Iraq and reduce the Kurdish squabbling with the GOI to get the necessary agreements, like the HCL, in place. Quite possibly (in my opinion), Iran is adamantly opposed to the HCL since this would unify Iraq and substantially remove Iran's capability from controlling Iraq or instigating chaos in Iraq.
  9. Medhat Mahmoud, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Federal Court, is very likely stalling to give Nouri al-Maliki and associates more time. Looks like the instigators of the chaos in the parliament are the center piece of the issues, too, and ways are being sought to circumvent due judicial processes and so to avoid providing a firm basis for starting the prosecution processes for Nouri al-Maliki and associates. With those released from prison because of being falsely imprisoned by Maliki and associates, the progress being made in the reforms (albeit somewhat stalled temporarily), the clerics' calls for reforms and removal of corruption, and the Iraqis pressing urgently for the removal of corruption and the implementation of the reforms - something has got to give. With the IMF, WB, and other loans being granted, with conditions, I can't imagine these dysfunctional practices can continue at the hands of Nouri al-Maliki and associates and Medhat Mahmoud. My opinion, these cast of characters will have justice served on them in the not too distant future. I suspect we'll some indication of how things will go before the end of Ramadan or shortly thereafter since al-Sadr has been asking for patience until the end of Ramadan.
  10. I would like to believe the article. The article states $90 billion in loans whereas other recent articles were stating nominally $15 billion in loans will be granted. The $90 billion loan figure in this article is six (6) times the nominal $15 billion loan figure in other articles. The article states, "" indicating that " the governments in Baghdad and Erbil will participate to pay those benefits by deducting the percentage imposed on Kurdistan region of its stake general budget, amounting to 17%." Looks like HCL type language. Maybe either a precursor to or an indication of the HCL implementation.
  11. Luigi1 - Here is your post from three days ago advertising 1 IQD = 80.00 USN. Now they are saying "5 on the dinar." Has the IDQ to USD (or purported USN) exchange rate really dropped a whopping 93.75% in three days? Or, could it be, this post is as worthless as all the other dinar guru chatter? Please explain!!!
  12. Good Point, Wiljor! I am thinking, "with the price of oil now above the 45 dollar line they will have some excess cash" to pay you and me with an IQD RV!!! Happy Place - We Are On Our Way!!!
  13. I had a hard time remembering where the $45/barrel budget figure article was located. After several searches, here is what K98 posted. The $45/barrel budget number is in the 5th paragraph down. There are maybe other places the $45/barrel budget price is listed but this is the one I could find. Maybe others know different references.
  14. Seems like a kwinkidinki that the IMF and World Bank (maybe other lenders, too?) require the loan terms to be met by June 15th as well as the updated tariffs are being implemented on the 15th (maybe some other things, too?). The moon will go New on the 16th so maybe it is on a New Moon instead of Full Moon schedule (well, OK, Moon schedule is likely irrelevant except for maybe Ban Ki Moon's schedule). I forgot about the sum owed to Kuwait, too. That is in the news now. How are they going to pay Kuwait the 9 billion USD owed on an "easy payment schedule"?
  15. I wonder if they are using the same time spans for the averages. Crude oil prices on www.ino.com have been rising fairly steady since April 1, 2016 and have somewhat plateaued lately around $50/barrel. From the statement in the last article, "it is expected to arrive in oil prices to $ 54 a barrel by the end of the last quarter of this year", are they talking about average per day, per week, per month, per quarter, etc. in this statement? I am a little more optimistic that the crude oil prices will trend upwards at a higher rate. I am wondering if these financial institutions are advertising projected crude oil prices as a basis for entities to include in their business plans for oil and gas related loans. If projections are more the bottom end of the crude oil price projections, likely good for us with Iraq budgeting nominal $45/barrel crude oil.
  16. Thank You, Wiljor for all your informative posts! Yep. Text from Adam says it all imot (in my opinion, too)! Can't believe I get a text alert and wonder, "Is this really going to be the fabled (fabled for now, reality hopefully soon) text from Adam? I can hardly wait to see it!" And then the text is something from a friend and I feel somewhat let down. Yes, shame on me. Friends are priceless.
  17. Something I have been watching is the IQD/USD exchange rate on www.xe.com. I may have missed fluctuations but the IQD seems locked on 1,106.37 IQD = 1 USD since May 11, 2016. The strongest IQD exchange on www.xe.com I've seen was Tuesday, January 19, 2016 with 1,086.00 IQD = 1 USD. Late last year, the daily fluctuations topped out at 1,106.37 = 1 USD and would dip below that before returning to 1,106.37 IQD = 1 USD on any given day. From January 20, 2016 to nominally April 3, 2016, the IQD would fluctuate between 1,106.37 and 1,106.19 = 1 USD nominally any given day. From nominally April 4, 2016, to May 11, 2016, the fluctuations were in the same range but very sporadic with many days no change from 1,106.37 IQD = 1 USD. I am not sure if the IMF, WB, etc. SMPs (IMF people monitoring activities at the CBI) have any influence on these type of international exchange rates but I find it odd that the IQD exchange rate behavior on www.xe.com changed significantly after the SMPs were announced as having arrived at the CBI early this year.
  18. Here's how I feel about the "800" numbers.
  19. Ramadan fasting started on June 7th and will likely end on the evening of July 5th.
  20. I really agree with you here, TennesseeCherokee. I am really going to up my game on various forms of spying/stalking, electronic eaves dropping detection, probe detection, and other early warning means to avoid personal (and family) mishaps at the hands of the malicious. I suspect we all think this will be all peaches and cream after the IQD RV to some degree but, my opinion, the lion's share of the work will just begin to prevent losing the reward (while gaining on legitimate and profitable investments) and prevent physical harm to myself and my loved ones.
  21. Yep. That'll work! The similar concept worked for Black Jack Pershing and our US Troops in the Philippines! Just a heads up, there is one really bad swear word on a slide 2/3rds the way through but other than that is a good 5 minute view with a cup of coffee.
  22. Luigi1 - From the information you posted, could you give us first hand information of your exchange experience? Is this real? Is the rate really 1 IQD = 80.00 USN? Were they nice to you? Treat you first class? Hurry up and bring your friends so we can treat them first class, too? I really do not want to ask what "800" numbers are used or for the exchange locations. Scammers offering "800" numbers, astronomically high exchange rates, exchange rates for the worthless currencies (ZIM), short exchange windows, and private/semi private exchange locations will be out in force once the IQD revaluation actually occurs. These scammers are likely ruthless and will likely incur harm on the victims while absconding the victim's currency - and their dignity.
  23. I really agree with you again here, Wiljor! A tsunami of stolen funds returning to the CBI would really bolster their reserves and is one of the things I am looking for in the news (a significant portion of the stolen funds returned) before the IQD RV is announced (a few other things, like the HCL passed, would likely need to occur, too).
