I think that the US needs to remove any and all sanctions. Then get Iraq to revalue their currency, and makes everyone whole. Then the US sells back their bases to Iraq, and gets the heck out of there. Let them deal with their own issues.

I understand...I don't think he made it up either. For a lot of reasons I just feel, that when it revalues, it will do it all at once. They can increase the value in country, but that really doesn't make sense to me, because they can't really use it outside the country for anything. JMHO

I have always believed, that if it isn't on Forex, that it is not for real. Can't imagine an in country revaluation. It would not make any sense. While it looks good there, their currency isn't worth anything outside the country, so I gotta call this one...

Yeah they are slowly decreasing the parallel market, and at the rate they are doing it, it might be another 10 years or so. If they revalue, they can make it disappear immediately.

I have a hard time trusting them - I have over 4 Million IQD in Warka Bank, and I'm not able to even communicate with them for several years. Yeah Ron...that would be scary! I almost set up an account, and I am very glad I didn't actually do it. It seemed like such a good idea, but watching the problems everyone is having, I feel for you guys. Hopefully though, you will all come out okay in the end!

I keep hoping I will come in here at some point and somebody will have made a post saying they have rvd and it is live on forex. I think the reason they put their money in the US banks, is because theirs are so corrupt! At least their money won't disappear into someone's pocket! JMHO...

I don't trust the Iraqi Banks, and I don't even live there! They actually get to see it first hand...very sad for them!

In all fairness, the investment is a good one, but like you said, it was pushed hard as a get rich scheme. I am hoping after all these years, something good is going to come out of it!

Militia Man When people suggest they're going to LOP the currency ask them about...How is it that a country that's worth $16 to $17 trillion with no inflation is going to LOP their currency? And that would be allowed by the IMF, the Bank of International Settlements and the WTO...US Treasury? Why would they be able to just erase the value of the currency when the US Treasury holds lets say 7, 9, 10 trillion dinar? (Only 4 Trillion at last estimate) ...This is what's in the news. This is what's reality... No Lop!

Pimpy is making stuff up again....Pimpy obviously has no idea of what is going to happen. Iraq has said for many years that the notes will coexist. The redenomination group has come up with this theory long ago, for what ... who knows! I have never read anywhere, that they re-denominate their currency, and make the old currency valueless. Hang on to your notes, eventually they will be worth something! 👍

I do agree they will coexist for a while, but I think they will have a short window, to get all these old notes gone.

Just think about it. Iran sends $15 billion and get's 19.5 trillion dinars. They hold the dinars, like we do, and when it revalues, they bank a ton of money!
