  1. Bobbydee, if you feel compelled to leave the site I must applaud you on the classy way you are signing out. I've read some very bitter and angry goodbye's throughout my tenure here and some of the worst has been from some VIP's. Just my 2 cents
  2. Appreciate the information from Adam and the Admins. This weekly chat has improved by leaps and bounds over earlier efforts. Thanks again!
  3. Got hit here in the Baltimore suburbs. Evac'd the office buildings for a half hour or so and got the all clear to return to work. Hope no one was injured in this event, but it was kinda cool!
  4. Uncle Delta, Read me another one! Hillarious! Terry P.
  5. I like them all! Retired Air Force 1997 Terry P.
  6. "Bacon, Bacon, Bacon, I'd RV myself but I don't have thumbs"
  7. Hoping it shows in the FOREX and CBI by the end of the month. That would be a blessing that we all could embrace! Best wishes to all. Thanks for the encouragement Adam. Been kinda gloomy out here of late. Terry P.
  8. Sara, Can you please Dinarify me as well! OSI Platinum VIP PITA TKS, Terry

  10. FROSTY, Sorry for your loss and condolences to your friends family, my heart goes out to them. Terry P.
  11. Servant, Here is the link from "The Giving Pledge". It states specifically during their life or subsequent to their deaths they pledge to donate the "majority" of their wealth to philanthropic charities. The Gates Foundation and Warren Buffet has spearheaded this. Look at the list of those who pledged to do the same. Very impressive. http://givingpledge.org/#enter Click on the About/Directory links on that page to get more info. Very cool that they are doing this! Terry P.
  12. I recently read that Warren Buffet and Bill Gates had made agreements with most of the top "Billionaires" to donate half their fortunes now or upon their death to charities of their choosing. The richest guy from Mexico was listed above gates simply because of the donations through the Gates Foundation that decremented his fortune enough to knock him to # 2. Noble gestures considering they all know that they current ly have way more money than they or their family needs will ever be. Just FYI !. Terry P.
  13. Very good read and synopsis. All we can do is wait it out and let them decide to get this done so that their citizens can hold their heads up once again. They are so close, and yet can't seem to get out of their own way to save their lives. Come on Shabibi ! Terry
  14. Seeker, I get your apprehension, but I think I could get away with a tee-shirt far easier than rolling up somewhere in a new Mazerati or Audi, as has been mentioned in some post. How about, instead of "DINAR" how about "WINNING" ! That speaks to post RV reality. Terry
  15. Great idea.... along with "DINARDED", how about "All the way to the BANK" Terry P.
  16. Would like to add my " THANKS" from the OLD LINE STATE of Maryland. Appreciate all the information and effort from Adam, Frank, Sara attending to such a large community of investors. Best thread post in quite some time. Nothing but love! Terry P.

    New Rumor

Get the guitar back!!!!! I give that one a '10' on the funnyometer !!!!! Just what I needed to start yet another "should have been RV Monday". Terry P.
  18. I'd like to commend the contributors to this investment blog for the wealth of information that is passed back and forth, from guru to newbie and of late the exact opposite. I was talking to a co-worker, who is also invested, about the amount of information and knowledge that I have gained since I started following these blogs (principally DinarVets). I have, in my military days (retired AF) and current defense contractor job, traveled worldwide using various currencies and exchanging them as required, with no more interest than to get the money needed for the places I would be. Since making this, pretty simple investment, I have read nearly all of the inputs regarding the expectation of the RV and just recently started to pull back from that since the rhetoric has gotten a lot more confrontational than helpful. What I would like to say is that the bounty of information that has passed and that I have absorbed I am sure could be structured and presented for college credit in a multitude of disciplines. I have learned and beginning to understand the concepts of Accounting, Financial management, Foreign Markets, Politics, Government, Investing, Asset protection,Taxes and Travel! The knowledge and understanding of some of the contributors is very impressive and I thank one and all for their input. Having a better understanding of references such as; Baskets, floats, Forex Charts. There are some folks out here commenting on the personalities of Iraqi ministers and the positions they hold in their government, (for the sake of this investment) who could not point out their US counterparts here. It's amazing. Like all of you, I am hopeful the Iraqi government is fully seated and budget presented soon, so that they can get on with the business of re-vitalizing their war torn country and providing for the welfare of their people. Wish you all well! Terry P.
  19. Got mine locally at Capital One in the Baltimore suburbs, and had my niece buy some from 5/3rd in Chicago Good luck! Terry P.
  20. Hahhhh!!! You funny lady! R O T F L ..... long time!
  21. I plan on re-locating from MD to San Antonio, where I will use my OSI domestic corp to do some government contract work. That way I can make back some of the money they will take in taxes after the RV.
  22. I have all the Dinar I intend on investing, so if this was intended as a pump... oh well.. I do find the information reasonable and understandable. Sadr being back, though not causing any grievous issues can generate upheaval spurring protest from Iraqi citizens without the backlash from the GOI, for fear of Sadr turning his rebels loose. The GOI is still trying to sell themselves as a democracy so they just can't go Sadaam on the possible protest. As was mentioned, and I have seen a lot of articles regarding the business that is sitting in and around Iraq waiting for this thing to be done. China, Russia, Italy, Australia, Sweden, on and on. They seem resolute in "cutting off their nose to spite their face" considering all the commerce that is waiting to pour in there when they value up their currency and put it on the world market. Anyway, just another .02 cent observation. Good info laid out for folks to believe what they want. Terry P.
