  2. Americans Giving Up Passports Jump Sixfold as Tougher Rules Loom Americans renouncing U.S. citizenship surged sixfold in the second quarter from a year earlier as the government prepares to introduce tougher asset-disclosure rules. Expatriates giving up their nationality at U.S. embassies climbed to 1,131 in the three months through June from 189 in the year-earlier period, according to Federal Register figures published today. That brought the first-half total to 1,810 compared with 235 for the whole of 2008. The U.S., the only nation in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development that taxes citizens wherever they reside, is searching for tax cheats in offshore centers, including Switzerland, as the government tries to curb the budget deficit. Shunned by Swiss and German banks and facing tougher asset-disclosure rules under the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act, more of the estimated 6 million Americans living overseas are weighing the cost of holding a U.S. passport. “With the looming deadline for Fatca, more and more U.S. citizens are becoming aware that they have U.S. tax reporting obligations,” said Matthew Ledvina, a U.S. tax lawyer at Anaford AG in Zurich. “Once aware, they decide to renounce their U.S. citizenship.” Fatca requires foreign financial institutions to report to the Internal Revenue Service information about financial accounts held by U.S. taxpayers, or held by foreign entities in which U.S. taxpayers hold a substantial ownership interest. It was estimated to generate $8.7 billion over 10 years, according to the congressional Joint Committee on Taxation. 3. Sounds right on and matches what someone else has been saying that I listen to.
  4. Ok...I have stood by and watched too long and the stupid I read...it just hurts my eyes. POSSUM is satire! POSSUM is comedy. Possum has been a member of DV for YEARS and has been doing his updates for YEARS. The name POSSUM should be one clue...as in "playing possum"...ever hear of that term? Playing possum means you are faking...you are faking it...you are "playing possum" If the name is not a big enough clue look at his picture...you recognize that person? That is a picture of "Baghdad Bob" do you know who that is? Baghdad Bob was made famous in the early stages of the gulf war as the US forces were invading Baghdad Iraq. Baghdad Bob was the official spokes person for Saddam Hussain and was made famous for his fake and false statements! When someone was caught making a made up statement people use to call someone a "Baghdad Bob". So with the name POSSUM and the avatar of Baghdad Bob one would think that most would "get it" I swear to god...I am worried about this nation and the constant lack of intelligence and reason I am faced with on a daily basis. God help us....the stupid...it burns.

ANYONE who says they have high level contacts who are saying the IQD will start over $11+ is a pumper and a liar. That is economically impossible and would throw all of the world in to economic chaos. If the IQD was ever worth $11+ it would be because the US dollar had crashed and a loaf of bread would cost you $30 and a gallon of gas would be $50
  6. Sad truth about Tony is there are people out there and maybe thousands, who actually are so naive and gullible they believe this guy. That realization alone should strike fear in the hearts of many. How would you like to live next door to someone so gullible and stupid that they think the IQD will start at $11+ and know they just came into a fortune? Scary thought.

  8. See you are still supporting terrorist. You do know this man was convicted for terrorism, sentenced to death and has an international Interpol arrest warrant on his head right? When I see people who I know own dinar who openly support terrorist I become very concerned.
  9. Yes SIR! Thanks possum! Opened the bottle just now!
  10. As far as I know ever since Warka Bank was taken over by the CBI no one has been able to get any funds back in USD returned to your home nation from Iraq. There are people who have well over $100,000+ frozen in Warka with no way to get it back. One fellow hired a high end lawyer to no avail, the lawyer basically told him he was screwed and had no recourse as US laws do not apply. That was almost a year and a half ago and he still is yet to get anything and doubts he ever will. Sorry to hear your money is stuck there.
  11. Cool...this will be the one the feds use to nail his @ss to the wall with. I bet the FBI is waiting for this one with a dozen recorders warming up. This is going to be too easy.
  12. What the heck is wrong with you people? If the duly elected government of Iraq is overthrown by a military coup you can kiss your dinar and any other Iraqi investments goodbye. The first thing the US would do would be to place economic sanctions against a military dictatorship that takes power by force. If this is what you want you are crazy you might as well burn your dinar right now if this is what you hope happens.
  13. Wow. This guy is so delusional. What will he say when they make the official announcement after EID that he died months ago? Maybe he will say he is not dead, only resting? If Frank owned a pet shop:
  14. Why post something from someone who was removed from his post under suspicion of money laundering? This guy holds no position and has been under threat of jail for criminal activity. You might as well post an article quoting Bernie Madoff on his views on current economic decisions in the US as it would hold the same validity.
  15. Could throw the whole country into chaos. Maliki is hated by Al-Qaeda because he had arrested and jailed so many. If Maliki were jailed it will be seen as a victory for Al-Qaeda. But I guess there are some who think Al-Qaeda winning is what the US wants these days... We do fund Al-Qaeda in Syria and every body seems to think that is ok so who knows. Maybe if Al-Qaeda takes over Iraq it will RV? Who knows? I do not support the terrorist just for the record so I do not care what ever one else supports that is your business not mine.
  16. I bet Wells Fargo legal department has had this info sent to them today.
  17. Sounds true. That is why Al-Sadr was demanding a high level group to go and visit Talibani to prove he was still alive because he had been told he was dead. Note: Frank26 will not look too good as he has been saying Talibani is running Iraqi from a secret location in Kurdistan,
  18. Here, read this thread: http://dinarvets.com/forums/index.php?/topic/156663-rumoredbanks-now-have-the-800-group-rate-info/page-2#entry1232012
  19. Well this can all be avoided by not joining any kind of so called "group". Problem solved.
  20. That is the problem. They could be the best people in the world who have nothing but good intent and just wake up to find out their funds were frozen. The reason does not even have to be given under the Patriot Act and it could effect every member of the group nation wide with the punch of one key on a keyboard at Homeland Security, And that would be that. Obama would be a hero for netting billions of dollars that were seized from a group with SUSPECTED ties to terrorism. Under the Patriot Act it does not even have to be proven, just SUSPECTED! But how do you bait a trap? With bait. What is the bait for this trap? Crazy high secret rates that only the members of the secret group get. They can keep their secret high rates and all the other fool bait they offer. I will take .10 as a private person cashing in alone even if I were offered 1-1 with a "group". Good luck with the group stuff and it may work out but for me it reeks of a trap for the greedy and fools.
  21. Anyone ever hear of the "Patriot Act"? Being part of a "group" lumps you in with thousands of unknown people. You know NOTHING about these THOUSANDS of other people in this "group". If just ONE single person who is part of this "group" is found to be just SUSPECTED of ANY financial crime like money laundering, drugs, smuggling or funding of terrorist organizations, what keeps the FBI and Homeland Security from freezing all the assets of the "group" to make sure no other "group" members are not also committing financial crimes? Can you just imagine the money the Obama administration could seize under something like that? Not only would they freeze all the US dollars they may even intercept and confiscate all the dinar exchanged by that group! The US Government could net BILLIONS of dollars in one fell swoop all under the Patriot Act and all the members of the so called "group" would have no recourse under the law. Obama would be a hero for bust terrorist funding and the US government would have billions and billions of dollars to help them fund failing US operations. Because of that I am part of NO group! Just me and my bank.
  22. 25,000 The best security and hardest to fake. All of the fake dinar is 10,000 and below
