  1. I suspect this whole session of finger pointing and rebel rousing is the final round to get all the blocks to decide something quick, or Mahdi will be booted. Merely another, and hopefully final round of "Hey! how about these guys?" Mahdi : "NO". Hey how about these guys?" Mahdi: "NO". What about these guys Mahdi?" " No! My choices for my ministry or I quit...." YADA YADA YADA. He's not going to quit, or he already would have...... They all love the power and the money too much!
  2. I agree with you NYK, but we ain't dealing with highly motivated individuals over there. This is a country that has a very large river running through it (which would be more dam building for them. (hopefully unlike the Mosul dam)....Yet they are still buying electricity from Iran.... Not exactly bright and focused over achievers.
  3. I'm confused... I thought Fouad Hussein was booted out a month ago because of his involvment with corruption...
  4. Once the auctions are closed, no more USD for Iran... hence the foot dragging. Most likely compliments of Maliki. I’m amazed the people of Iraq haven’t buried him up to his head and then engaged in some good old fashioned stoning, sending that little ho to stand and truly be judged, once and for all. 😡
  5. Well, on that note, I’m calling it a night all! Have a good evening!
  6. 6ly posted that pic without saying where it came from. Thought he was arguing it was An old bill from 1992. Mine isn’t... and it is identical... cept for the red on it.
  7. That 1000 dinar note is identical to the 1000 dinar note I am holding in my hand right now, and this one is crisp and new as they come... Now I am for sure certain! 😁
  8. Oh yeah... and did anyone mention the colors being totally different, and I agree also the shape with the circles in it are different too Floridian. That doesn't like like the one from 1992....It doesn't have a picture of Hussein on it either... I am confused for sure now... "In 1991, 50 dinars were introduced and 100 dinars reintroduced, followed in 1995 by 250 dinar notes and 10,000 dinars notes in 2002. Banknotes that were issued between 1990 and October 2003, along with a 25-dinar note issued in 1986, bear an idealized engraving of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein."
  9. Holy Guacamole! The earliest runs of the Edge of Night were a far more entertaining soap opera then this never ending saga, and it started back in 1950’s. I wonder if they will ever pull their heads out. Wonder how hard it is to open a business over there. Thinking I’ll start with a vitamin store for the vitamin deficient, and then oxygen bars for the politicians. I will never understand how they always work against each other. No matter what it is, someone else always decides to sabatoge it. I now have a different understanding of why Hussein had all of those people shot when he took power. If they have always been like this ( and I suspect they have), then he saw it would take decades to get anything done....
  10. A unique breed of greed, power and corruption. That nomination there speaks volumes of their ignorance......The people of Iraq should definetly storm the Peace Palace on that note and string up Maliki from the highest chandalier! 😡
  11. I know Basra is still dependant on electricity from Iran, among other things Iraq is currently relying on Iran for. Iraq could have already had the electricity, judging by the current of the Tigris River. I'm really confused on why Basra hasn't tried to build some generators on the Euphrates. If I know those egg heads, they are holding off till they can build 4 or 5 nuclear plants, with the help of others. They never do anything about rebuilding, other then talking, and running around begging for loans to rebuild......Countries offer their help...and still Iraq is still does nothing. Instead they want Maliki back on the payroll to make sure they remain Iran's little b$tch... 🤨
  12. "All the other political blocs support Maliki to get the post," Of course they do! That 50 million fine is only if you counterfeit money, not if you steal it! In all of those politicians eyes, I’m sure they see Maliki as a god. Not many would have had the balls to do what he did to his “brothers”. Besides, pretty sure there isn’t a Kurd alive that isn’t holding a grudge against Abadi. He was pretty hard responding to the referendum.... but no more then he had to be. Abadi was doing everything with in his power to keep the country together. I’m sure the Kurds will take that State of Law politician over Abadi any day of the week. Though I can’t wait to hear what Sadr has to say about that! No body has more anger towards Maliki then Sadr! He knows and refuses to look the other way!
  13. Maybe if Maliki's crazy army hadn't dropped their guns and ran back in 2014, maybe they could have held ISIS off saving Mosul from being totally taken over to begin with... I still can't belive that little weasel can even show his face in public over issues such as these. He shouldn't even have the freedom and liberties he still holds... : (
  14. You would not come back across that border either " Thinking this has drifted out into the sea of desparity. Botz, you and the other 2 million Americans are always welcomed to America! 😊
  15. From what I have been watching in Iraq these days, either the Pres is stuck back on chapter 3 of this book... or playing the part of ignorant politcian trying to engage and distract the Iraqi population through their Fake News Network.! "Squirrel !!!!! "(Americans)... That bone head will never promote the fact Americans are rooting for them on so many levels it's stupid at this point. 🤣
  16. It is such a shame Iran has had to tolerate the mullahs and their radical politics. Shame on the mullahs for screwing up Iran. 😡 https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/travel_news/article-4148684/amp/Stunning-photos-reveal-life-Iran-revolution.html
  17. Everytime I look at his avatar I think of crazy old Possum! I never realized the avatar was of some guy named Baghdad Bob. Never even heard of that till today! 😊
