  1. Oh, you right. I forgot. You can fry up bacon and eggs on the sidewalk in Baghdad. 🌞😄🍳🥓
  2. Electricity? Is good? You sure? Electricity means internet. Wait till they have teenage children on the internet. They'll change their mind...lol 😅
  3. Merry Christmas to all. Especially Yota691. Hero. 🤑🎅
  4. Patting myself on the back prematurely: 😆 Yeah I think this Iraqi Dinar thing will work. But why?...other than being right at essentially a guess, which it is: a guess. What is it? Besides the evidence? Me. 😉 I predicted the collapse of the Soviet Union, way back in the day. It was a wild guess. Told it to a friend of mine, who was from Czechoslovakia. "Pete" thought I was nuts. 🥜 <--Peanuts. Pete grew up there, experienced communism first hand, said it would last for hundreds of years. All the eggheads and geniuses at Harvard said the same thing at the time. 😵They were wrong. I never visited Eastern Europe, predicted the U.S.S.R. would collapse anyhow, based on reading "An Outline of History" by HG Wells, which basically said: All empires eventually end. They fall. U.S.S.R. ended. It fell. I've never been to the sun, but predict it will rise tomorrow. 🌞 Just like an apple on a tree, if you wait around long enough, it falls as Newton pointed out. Apples fall. So I told Pete: "Soviet Union is an empire. All empires eventually fall. USSR will fall". Pete said: "No it won't. OK. Maybe in hundreds of years". Two years later it fell. 🍎 Also predictions of mine: It will rain in Seattle. 🏊‍♀️ The sun will come out tomorrow. 🌞 Genius. Also prediction of mine: Donald Trump will become President in 2016. 😵 Of course my friends and family said, "Rochester is off his medication". Of course I was right. However to be fair, I thought it would take 10 years for the Dinar. I was wrong about that. 20 years. Only believe in things that have proven track records at prediction. I predicted before. About big, obvious things. I got it right, then. I got it right, now. The sun will come up. Apples will fall. Empires crash. All countries trade their currencies eventually. This investment is looking irresistibly gorgeous, in my opinion. 👸 If you want someone to open a pickle jar, don't ask me. 🥒 Too tough. If you want to know if this will work, sure it will. 🤐
  5. “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to **** things up,” Obama was quoted as saying. https://www.the-sun.com/news/1313431/obama-biden-bitter-tensions/#:~:text=“Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to **** things up%2C”,“And you know who really doesn’t have it%3F
  6. All governments are liars. Some of those lies, are told to protect their financial interests. Does anyone really know what will happen in 3 years? Of course not. Does anyone know the price of oil in 3 years? Of course not. Does anyone know what the political situation will be in 3 years? Of course not. Obviously they are lying. They have all kinds of reasons to lie, reasons based on protecting their financial interests. They have very few reasons to tell the truth, so assuming they are lying is reasonable. My guess is by spring. Their big new CBI building is nearly done. Next they put all the office furniture and computer systems in. Should take a few months. Then they will have to decide: Do we have a world class banking building, with a worthless currency? Seems unlikely. Old joke: how do you tell when a politician is lying? Answer: his lips move 🤣
  7. thx Adam, look after yourself, all is well, the joke ratio is going up, so all good here on site.
  8. Is it really a coincidence that this is coming out, same time the new Central Bank of Iraq building is scheduled to be complete by the end of the year? Maybe not. We'll see. Will that beautiful brand spanking new building be selling worthless currency? Unlikely.
  9. Yes, Trump has a talent for seeing what others can't see. but HOW? How will the cost of Iraqi Dinar be driven high, so America benefits, someone else pays? How about this? Let China rebuild Iraq. Let them buy oil in Iraqi Dinars. Let them pay in Iraqi Dinars, driving up the global price. Then America can sell the currency they own....BOOM...war paid for, by China. ...just winging this....anyone feel free to chew on that bone
  10. Iran is a great country, a great history of past days lost in time. Persians are great people, I used to have a friend from Tehran. Trouble is, as The Boss Bruce Springsteen sang, "Glory Days, pass you by. Glory Days, in the wink of a young girl's eyes, glory days...."
  11. Iraq’s Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi is meant to survive assassination attempt. I am meant to make a lot of money. So were you. Can't stop this from happening. Was meant to be.
  12. Of course it's a force of nature. Clever scientists have figured out, looking at DNA for 200,000 years, that all humans have twice as many female ancestors, as male. Why? As Rod Stewart sang, "Some guys have all the luck". ...It's much more common for males to die off or be killed, in nature. That's how nature works. The males in nature are expendable, fight each other for access for breeding with females. In humans we send the young men off to die in wars, not the young women. Counter-posed to all this scientific evidence, is the fairy tale of feminism that women are supposedly the oppressed sex. An old guy who lived through WWII told me in 1980, "Young women used to come around with a white feather. Go find some young men, downtown during the war. If a young man wasn't wearing a military uniform, they handed him a white feather. The message was clear: if you don't fight, I won't breed with you. Men must die to protect me" So much for equality of the sexes....lol
  13. Your comment is very true Carrello, but here is what it does not say: While everything Laid Back says is true, it is also true that "factual, insightful, researched" things are *necessary but not sufficient*, to move this thing forward. Here comes the uneducated emotional but true things: This is all about political plays, blood and guts and political rivalry for power. To end up, with that football making a touchdown those few final yards, will be a political play. My guess is it's the Sadrists who have enough power now, will do the trick. I've read in the past, they are populist, want to increase the economic power of the masses...their political base. So, far as I understand it, they are less controlled by the Iraqi elites. This thing could have RVd years ago. Why didn't it? Lots of reasons, one of which is greedy elites in Iraq. How to change that? Give populists political power. That just happened.
  14. What did the Sadrists get for their support? RV on currency is the best way to better the lives of ordinary Iraqi people.
