Deployed, I personally believe the scenario you described is the most likely result. Drop the 000's and RV at about 1.40. We sell 1m dinar for $1400. Believing in a 1 to 1 RV and cashing out $1m for each 1m dinar is not realisric and Iraq couldn't afford the Trillions of $'s needed if everyone liquidated. But it's been a fun investment to watch. If the RV was at $.10 per dinar, without deleting 000's, as Adam predicts, that would be the best "logical" result. JMO

It seems logical that they cannot revalue ar 1-1 if the citizens cannot give change. Until there are LD's like 1, 5, 10's, there would be no RV. They consider a L D as 100 and 500. That would make sense if the RV is 1 dinar = .01 cent. Logical?

Dand,. You have hit on a sensitive topic. . Actually what we want is an RV, without deletion of any zeros, but the deletion keeps coming up in the news. So you have to decide if they wifi remove the zeros from the exchange rate or the currency. The articles clearly say "currency", so to argue that it is NOT coming off the currency value is just not facing reality. So here are the two options: they remove three zeros from the currency and RV's at 1.00, and it is a break even for the investors, but if it slowly comes back to $3.00, it's earlier glory, as quoted in their articles, we make a 300 % return. or they remove the zeros from the exchange rate and revalue at 1.18, as mentioned above, and they pay out Teillions to dinar holders. which is more probable?? dont let them intimidate you about the Lobster tank. That's what they say when they don't want to look at all the options. They want to stifle any conversation that offers an option that doesn't result in their dreams.

Ok, so we have a 50k note. Why? I can't buy in to the idea that this is to reduce the number of notes. 2 25k notes for a 50k. What did they accomplish? There is still 50k dinar out there. It sounds like it is just a larger bill, like our $50. They wouldn't print a 50k and then lop, and they wouldn't print a 50k and RV, so I think they are content with status quo for ten more years. Or I could be confused.. :-)

This is what we have been waiting for Luigi, government transactions are made electronically, so printing 50k notes worth $50 each for government transactions is ridiculous.

I come to the forums to see ALL opinions of where this investment is going. I believed the possibility of a full RV was real initially, but as more and more dinars are purchased, and deluted the value, it seems illogical to believe Iraq could afford a 1 to 1 RV. But I would like to hear all views without the overhanging threat of being called a lopster, or a negative person just because we are discussing a possible direction this could take. I find the Lobster tank offensive just because someones opinion is not "positive". We should also have a "sand pit" for people that insist an RV is the only outcome and refuse to discuss other options, like an ostrich with his head in the sand. Caz and Tex, I have always appreciated your comments and consider your opinions valuable, but I want to hear all opinions but after all these years, Antietams opinion appears to just as valid.

Your path is similar to mine.... Same visions of immediate huge returns that I justified because of the historical affects of war, and the reinstatement of the value of the currency as part of their return to their normal. But reality sits in and realize that the big RV is not realistic, but a nice return of around 300% on the investment is possible in time. I am offended by people who believe that all options can be considered except that of a lopster.... It's just another opinion of the possible outcome, one that I consider to be the most likely. It's just as valid of opinion as any other, but someone in their Devine power has labeled it as an unacceptable discussion point. Who decided that there must be a tank for people with this opinion? Who decided to stifle this opinion?

By example, I cannot find any supporting evidence that the International banks are in lockdown. If the banks are not in lockdown, then it is a lie, and ZAP has used one of his credibility points. One more and you are done with him. If it is proven that the banks are in lockdown, then his opinion is good to hear. Don't let the lying pampers or speculators destroy your credibility.

Luigi, I appreciate the fact that you have communication with these sources, and share their announcements of an imminent RV, but at some point it becomes clear that some are not credible sources. I believe they use you as their conduit to the DV group. I would like to recommend that you help us by thinning out the unreliable sources. Lets say you send out this kind of notice twice from any one source, and if they are wrong twice, stop forwarding info from THAT source. That way they will understand that they cannot destroy your credibility by throwing out misinformation.

Well said Antietam. If we have an opinion that indicates that there won't be a big RV, but instead there will be some reductions to the 000's on the currency, we are labeled lobsters and threatened to be banned or moved to a lobster tank. I respect everyone's opinion, but you can only speak your opinion as long as your opinion doesn't include removal of zeros from the currency.

When will the banks be notified?

If its done, shouldn't someone tell the banks so we can cash in? I need to pay cash for the truck.
