Unitedrich - Where are you seeing the 2002 date? I looked at all of these notes and don't see a date on any of them. Also - wouldn't the planning and design of these notes preceed printing? If they are dated for 2002 - these may be images of the proposed currency designs - possibly?

Ron - Thanks for your post. I asked this once before and never got a reply - What is 1...2........3 - in all of the things that Frank26 posts? I presume that it is eluding to certain things happening, but I am not sure what those items are. And doesn't Frand26 have steps 1 through 5 or more?? Just trying to understand what he is talking about here. Thanks in advance for your response and clarification......

Thanks Ron for keeping us informed. And thanks for keeping up with all of Scooter's posts. His research and analysis is second to none. Nowhere else can you find the kind of SOLID information - not speculation - regarding the inner workings of our investment. We ALL owe Scooter a few cold adult beverages when the after RV party is held in Vegas! And not that I think of it - Ron you get some cold ones too! Thanks again!

lgraham - thank you for being so kind and educating me on these aspects of our investment. I have taken the time to read the items posted and they do in fact shed additional light on the questions that I had. I especially like the idea that 90% of the IQD is held by governments around the world and only 10% is held by those of us who are looking to brighten our futures in a BIG way! If that is indeed the case - then once the RV/RI does occur - the exchange rate may fluctuate, but it shouldn't plummet like a rock because such a small amount of the actual total is being exchanged. Thanks again for taking the time to respond and to educate me on the ways of the IQD. Let's all hope that we will be smiling all the way to the bank very soon! God Bless

lgrahm - I appreciate your explanation above. As you can see from my number of posts - I am new to the DV Forums - but trying to learn all that I can. It appears that you are well versed in the ways of the dinar - so I do have a question that I would like to have clarified. Once the dinar does have the RV/RI - will the currency be "held constant" by the CBI much like it has been to this point or will it be then traded on the open market via Forex? And if it is put on the forex for trading - what is going to keep it's value from plummeting when you have all of these speculators selling their dinar back and cashing out. If is a classic supply and demand equation - the exchange rate is going to get hammered! I am just trying to make plans so that I can maximize my return on my dinar once this merry-go-round finally stops! Any wisdom on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Gotcha! I thought you might have known something about Bigfoot that was not common knowledge with the rest of us here on DV. Sorry for over reacting! I would be very interested to hear from Bigfoot again to have him divulge a little more about why he has been so steadfast with the July 1 date. Like everyone else - I am ready for this wild ride to come to a positive conclusion. But you difinately got me on this one.... thanks!

Scooter - Thank you so much for all of the research and work you do on behalf of everyone who is on DV. My question is this - you state that the new 5 year Development Plan can start without the RV - but yet all of the numbers within this plan are dependent upon the new rate - sort of a catch 22. Are you just saying that they can begin the process of the 5 year plan - but that the RV/RI will be sometime in the (relatively speaking) near future to facilitate the progress on the 5 year plan? I guess what I am trying to clarify here in my mind is this - we aren't going to have to wait 2-5 years longer before the RV/RI to take place - at least in IYO - correct?

Instead of using the date given to him by the "High" source (if we are playing the high, higher, highest game) - why not just go with the "new" date from the "Highest" source from the beginning and maintain credibility? I - like many others - am giving him the benefit of the doubt and looking to Monday or Tuesday of next week to see if his stated timetable comes to pass. However - if you have a "Highest" source - I would think that this would be the one to rely on from the get go - wouldn't you?

I would think that the term "un-circulated" would mean currency that has not passed through multiple hands in the course of normal daily business transactions. Since the dinar is not a recognized currency here in the US and no one is using it during their daily business transactions here - then this currency is un-circulated. Think about it - I don't know about you, but all of the dinar that I have purchased has been sitting in a safety deposit box at the bank since they have been in my possession. So again - it is un-circulated because it is still bundled just the way I got if from the bank. Does that make sense?

I noticed that you were mentioning exchanging for gold. If my memory serves me correctly - exchanging for gold was only available at the Santa Monica CA office - but not at the Bakersfield CA or Brentwood TN locations. Read this in one of the Chat Threads where Ali was answering questions. FYI

As a side note - it looks like Scooter has been at it again. He has posted another set of items - this time from the IMF that goes into some detail about how the "election factor" was taken into account by the IMF in their future plans for restructuring the economy and banking system in Iraq. You can't help but be impressed with the amount of work and research he is putting in for everyone's benefit. Thanks again goes to Scooter!

Trimark and Automag - This is my first post to the website - so I am as green as can be - but I have been coming to the DV site now for quite some time. It is interesting to read your comments back and forth regarding the RV and what level you both expect it to finally settle on. I tend to agree with both of you that gg's posts are very well thought out and it seems that she has her facts together. But the person who has gotten my attention lately has been Scooter with his in depth and thorough research. Not only does he do his research - but he posts EVERYTHING that he researches and provided links to documents etc. And from his chat earlier today - his number according to the documents he has researched is a value of $3.208 - which is according to the documents from the Ministry of Finance I think that he said. Also, he is holding on to the date of October 2010. I am all for the sooner the better the higher the better - but like most - it is time this roller-coaster ride is over so we can get the party started!!!!!!! Thanks to you both for all of your posts and your insights. I am enjoying reading and learning about this investment or ours!
