    Warka is still a working bank, just that one branch is closing down. There opening one up by british embassy. oh BTW, i got moved from USMI out to Kalsu. (it suks here btw...)

    Not to start anything, but the Warka bank at the Embassy did close, but was taken over by the bank of baghdad. didnt really give good reason to, but said something like inability to disburse funds. sturred a brief panic the other day, but seems that it is all straightened out now.

    Not saying there isnt any truth to this rumor.. it took us 20 minutes for 1 simple deposit. These chicks werent the sharpest tool in the shed if you know what i mean...

    Just left the embassy warka bank, they advised they could wire any amount for a total fee of $52.00. Hope this helps.

    Ok, Just returned from the Embassy Warka bank. The nice ladies behind the counter, when asked of lower denominations and or ATM machines, just looked at us with a half smile of TOTAL CONFUSION. then asked if they have seen anything lower than a 50 dinar note, they just said no. that concluded our visit to the Embassy.
