  1. I have indicated, with certitude, many times as to when an RV/RI/RD will occur. I am so certain about the time-frame that I will gladly state (again), for the record what I think the most likely time will be. Ready? Here goes... About thirty seconds prior to me setting a new land speed record. You can hang your hat on that. That is as accurate as anyone will be regarding the question of a time-frame. I really don't mean that in a derogatory manner, but anyone's guess is up for grabs. Where dates and rates are concerned, we know as much as Adam Montana. This ride is potentially near its end, but there are no guarantees, so don't allow the stress of uncertainty to be a burden. It is what it is. Peace. Be still.
  2. This is a perfect example as to how we now have a Federal Reserve Bank... the congressional advocates of the Fed used an "Overton Window" tactic that very effectively channeled it right into the acceptable category, even though it had previously been deemed illegal. The world's power-brokers use the "window" very effectively, very often and have passed a great many agenda items right under the noses of the people. Most people will never realize they are being manipulated. It rather makes me think of the biblical reference where the Almighty One refers to us as the "sheep of HIS pasture"... Many people think of this reference as some pie in the sky, warm and fuzzy status. I have to wonder about it because I am a creationist at heart and believe God created sheep. I have also learned a few things about sheep and one of the things that becomes easily apparent is that sheep are among the world's stupidest creatures.
  3. Perhaps I should not have engaged in a dialogue of sorts with anyone at 0430. This video lends credence to what I have suspected for years now... That elections are rigged on both sides and my suspicions are that the intent is the push toward "globalism". "Animal Farm" is coming to pass right before our very eyes. The pigs are in the big house.
  4. And the ever shifting standard of counting, recounting and counting once more to divine the possible intent of a voter wasn't fraudulent? What a joke. I don't think GWB was a great president, but neither was the scandalous behavior of those who were part and parcel to the whole recount fiasco. Treason? Get a life. The Clinton administration was so successful in lowering the standards of the Office of the Presidency that GWB actually did a great service to that Office by conducting himself reasonably welll... most of the time. Whether you liked his policy or not he did not greatly diminish the dignity fitting of that Office. This is greatly contrasted by the bufoon we have there running around on apology tours and taking prime time television spots needlessly, all for his narcissistic and self agrandizing political gain. This behavior is unbecoming and undignified and our forefathers deserve better if we refuse to have higher standards as a people. I don't like the economically destructive policies of ANY administration and I certainly do not accept that the Obama administration is doing us any favors by hyper-inflating our currency. Treason? The systematic destruction of our American (that's right our AMERICAN) way of life is as close to treasonous as anything could possibly be. You want to incite emotions by the suggestion of treason, so be responsible enough to put the credit where it is due.
  5. By the way, it was not, as you say, the Supreme Court. In the 2000 election against Albert Gore it was the Electoral vote. That is our system. It worked against the Popular vote. In 2004 he won both the Popular and Electoral majority. That's the way it happened.
  6. George W Bush is not a "jr". His father is George Herbert Walker Bush, he is George Walker Bush. Junior only applies to those of the same name. With as much correcting that you do here on DV one would think you wouldn't misuse a suffix...
  7. It is problematic when one asserts having gone to the source of all truth by citing the result of a search done on google or snopes. Snopes is not the be all to end all arguments and Google's influence is clearly skewed by the huge political contributions its' leadership has made in the interest of advancing an agenda... Many People have lost critical reasoning skills and will believe almost anything. ...even Snopes and Google, for instance. ---Quoted Article For Relevance Follows--- Prima Facie August 29, 2011 by Bob Livingston PHOTOS.COM The American people do not inquire beyond that which appears as “public” information. Prima Facie is a legal term that translates as “on its first appearance” or “at first sight.” This also means self-evident. In other words, if something is prima facie, no inquiry is needed to further investigate. All evidence is contained on the face of a subject. The American people see and interpret prima facie. They do not inquire beyond that which appears as “public” information. The reality is that most information comes to us in layers. The truth is beneath the surface and beneath the written or spoken word. Information from the public media and from official and political sources comes in layers. The first layer is what our natural senses perceive and retain as fact. This is almost 100 percent deceptive. However, inquiring beneath the first layer, or prima facie, brings us closer to reality and truth. The more layers peeled back and the more inquiry we make, the closer we come to reality. Some people get through several layers. A few people get to the reality that all or almost all public information, as well as public education, is false and totally misleading. Finally, a small number of people get through enough layers of information that they come to the shocking conclusion that government is organized crime and it is every man for himself. Most people don’t inquire enough to get to the big shock. The ones who do rush their assets out of the country. This is why propaganda is so effective against a population. It is human nature to see, hear and translate without inquiry or without question. The world of most Americans is a cartoon, a fantasy or a mirage. This is the product of a controlled media and “public education.” People control is a work in progress. The system attacks the population by dumbing the people down to the point where they have no inquiry. Everything is prima facie. Everything is what the system says it is. Our lives are prescribed and defined. We do not think our own thoughts. We have a Mickey Mouse mentality, and we dwell upon frivolity. Dr. Ron Paul (R-Texas) is the only sober voice in American politics. He repeatedly warns the American people about the evils of our monetary non-system and how fiat paper money is in the final stages of transferring the remaining savings and wealth of the American people to the money creators. Few people are listening! Paul has now drilled a ***** in the armor of the elite’s 100-year tyranny and financial burden of the private Federal Reserve Bank. Paul teaches and explains daily about the evils of a debt money system that is in the final stages of destroying America and impoverishing its people. How has this monster, masquerading as a central bank, survived and prospered in our midst for several generations since 1913? The answer is back to prima facie. We accept the propaganda of the Federal Reserve and its lackey banker stooges without inquiry. The Federal Reserve Bank is organized crime at its apex and perfection. This private cartel is at this moment creating inflation and food shortages by stepped-up money printing. It is criminal but “legal.” The American people have been well taught to trust the system, the politicians, the bankers and the bureaucrats. They are oblivious to crime at the highest levels of government and the crime of the money creators. The United States Congress and the U.S. Presidents are scoundrels. They get elected and stay in office by promising something they don’t have. It’s made possible because of printing-press money. President Andrew Jackson said: “If the American people only understood the rank injustice of our money and banking system, there would be a revolution before morning.” “Presidents Lincoln, Jackson and Kennedy tried to stop this family of bankers by printing U.S. dollars without charging the taxpayers interest…” (Quotes from “Bulletin” Feb. 1989 and 1991 issues, P.O. Box 986, Ft. Collins, Colo. 80522). My friends, the sole purpose of the U.S. Federal Reserve (which is neither Federal nor reserve) is to transfer wealth from savers and producers to the non-productive creators of fiat money. We are in the final stages of the greatest wealth transfer in history, and precious few Americans are aware of it. This is a testament to how crime at the highest levels can operate for a century under the cover of prima facie. The people simply believe without inquiry what the system tells them. We are out of time because governments in their last days engage in all kinds of tyranny and oppression under high-sounding and “patriotic” terms. Be warned and beware. As confidence collapses, aggression against the population intensifies. http://www.personalliberty.com/conservative-politics/government/prima-facie/?eiid=&rmid=2011_08_29_PLA_[P11955607]&rrid=387549201 ---End Quoted Article---
  8. For it is written that in the last days men would be lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God and that they would be ever seeking knoweledge but they will not receive the truth... I've always found it fascinating that the book of Revelation specifically mentions Gog and Magog as the power players of end time events and yet America doesn't seem to be found in the references. Most Americans are caught up in gadgets, gizmos, status, the me my four and no more mentality, what some freaking Hollywood personality is doing, and they absolutely shirk their civic duty to God and country. Truth is truth...
  9. I cut a portion of your post for sake of bandwidth not the content (It bugs me when several people quote an entire post, especially lengthy ones, rather than take time to cut it down. These words... your words could not have resonated more with me if I had said them myself. Excellent post. Maybe it will encourage others to think for themselves and not simply go along to get along. You're a great American individualist. Thumbs up and many pluses.
  10. You and I are not at all at odds regarding this post. Ron Paul is truly a Constitutionalist. That's the problem with getting him elected. A massive majority of America's citizenry has accepted middle of the road as their mantra. Don't get me wrong. I support him. I push his ideas. I would love to see him elected... and then there's the Washington grid-lock. The only way around that would be if he won the Presidency with such an astounding landslide majority and enough Washingtonians were put to the curb that the rest of them would "get it". It's a long shot at best... The one thing I am sure of is that four more years of a socialist agenda would put America flat on her ^$$.
  11. Mongo if you can get Steve Perry out of retirement you'll have a hit...
  12. Are you sure that's not spelled "Dudu"? 'Cause it kinda sounds like Tutu... only with a D. Bull Dudu! Uhm... No. That was last Monday... and the one before that and the one before that and the one before that and the one before that and the one before that AAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHH!
  13. I don't know that this isn't an oversimplification of the circumstances. It is true that the people need to experience an increase of financial status, but we have to remember that not one of us who has never lived under the oppression of a dictatorial regime can understand the prevailing mentality of the Iraqi people. I'm not so sure that they don't awaken every day with gut level suspicion of their government and let us not forget that Nouri Al Maliki rules with a dictatorial flair... Rebuilding their country? Many Iraqi's have lived under abject poverty for so long they may be likened to the circus elephant that we all know could easily break the chain which restricts his movements. It is not his lack of ability to break out. It is his lack of confidence in the ability to do so. After all, he was chained when he could NOT break the chain. Now he simply does not know that he is able... Total uprising? That is a speculative and subjective opinion. They may, perhaps. Perhaps not. Only an uprising would prove it.
  14. Surely my synopsis was lacking. We don't have a disagreement. the numbers I threw out were generalizations to illustrate my thoughts on the matter. My general feeling is that net neutral change is largely an accounting mechanism and does nothing for the people who desparately need their currency to rise in value. It makes sense to me that either scenario has it's pitfalls. An outright RV puts GOI on the hook for huge sums of money, which I do not think would be practical from their standpoint. Maybe you are correct, but it sure rubs me the wrong way to think we would be required to wait 2 - 5 more years before we realize a profit, with heavy emphasis on the possibility that there could be a point where the larger denominations would be deemed superceded and defunct; to be a mere collectors item. That is the basis of my "screw" comment. As long as they do not declare the large denominations valueless at some point I'll be content to wait them out. It's the unknown part of this that makes me crazy.
  15. I wish we would never lose a single soldier. Each one is a father's son, a mother's boy and a brother or sister's brother or sister. May God bless each family and show His glory somehow. In 2008 my oldest son was killed in an industrial accident. The depth of the pain I felt that day pales by comparison to the grief a parent must feel by losing their child on foriegn soil to an enemy we have little understanding of. Some day I will ride with the Patriot Riders. They are among the finest examples of patriotic Americans serving in their civic duties. God bless America and her patriotic sons and daughters! Long live America!
  16. Listen, friend, I have read a very significant number of your posts and I know you obviously are of above average intelligence. This article speaks volumes to me with regard to the intent to raise the zeroes and it goes back to a discourse here on DV about potential value. It would do absolutely no good for the CBI/GOI to "raise the zeroes" without raising the value and the exchange rate of the IQD. I must, must, must look at this from a glass half full perspective. GOI can do anything they want regarding the way they position themselves among trade partners and potential trade partners, but it makes no sense to me to think they would just screw the eyes out of every company and nation that has invested time and resources to bring Iraq out of the dark age of Sadaam. I cannot see it that way. Here's what I think (JUST MY OPINION to all reading this), it seems most logical that there will be a managed float. By and large, we who hold millions of IQD are the exception and not the rule. Many people bought a few hundred thousand to a couple of million. Many of those bought out of desparation and they will cash in at the first sign of a profit. Say for instance, a penny... IQD RV's to $.01USD: An initial outlay of about $1,000.00 USD becomes $10,000.00 (pre-tax) USD. There is an awful lot of people out there that could use an extra couple of thousand dollars so badly that they would set speed records getting to the cash-in location. Not everyone would, but a significant portion certainly would. The individual would net a decent ROI on a paltry amount (less time and aggravation), the bank would make a nice profit on spreads and fees, and CBI bolstered their position in the world markets. Soon thereafter they increase again and another percentage of the masses will duplicate the cycle. GOI/CBI cash reserve/inflation/economy is looking better all the time. Over the course of time, perhaps two to three years, as the value increases there is a point where each level of investors determines the time to cash in. Only those of us who did not purchase IQD out of desparation will hold out for the greatest potential gains and I suspect that this will be the least percentage of persons. Iraq saves face and everyone makes a little something while strengthening Iraq's position in the world market-place. Like I said, it's just my opinion, but it IS a glass half full scenario and it makes sense to me. Your mind is yours to make up for yourself and someone is going to be fairly close to correct. I'm happy with my thoughts about the whole fiasco and think there is some money to be made on the ISX as well. Peace.
  17. Unfortunately this is the reality America is facing. Your points regarding small businesses and etcetera are well recieved. I know what you said is true. I had my own business for three years, but the way the tax structure is set it was so difficult for me I simply opted out and closed my business. My employees were making more money than me and I'm still, after four years, answering to the IRS. I got hit with a huge bill for back taxes last year and just paid another penalty this year for forms my accountant never filed and I was ignorant of... How in the world anyone stays in business nowadays is beyond me. You practically need a degree in tax law or you need to pay a tax attorney to keep you out of trouble.
  18. The real number of unemployed/under-employed is actually closer to 30,000,000. There are approximately 17,000,000 Americans who have either given up on the employment situation, taken under-paying jobs to try and make ends meet, found some scoundrel willing to pay cash to avoid payroll taxes, or they have entered the black market somehow. The Bureau of Labor Statistics only reports unemployment claims of those who are newly entering the system and on those still in the system. Once the benefit runs out those people are no longer taken into consideration. That's one of the ways our illustrious Federal government skews the numbers so the non-thinkers among us don't realize just how bad our economy and jobs markets really are... By the way, they really aren't "supplementing" the program. They are getting people addicted to big brother's way of taking control of the economy.
  19. They don't think this is the way to help the economy... They think it is the way to help themselves and there are those who have an agenda beyond that. There IS a push toward globalism and multiculturalism and the way that will have to be accomplished is by dumbing down and demoralizing the common-folk. The economy needs to fail so that the majority of people will look to Washington for direction and some slick talking, silver tongued Pied Piper will be right there to fill in the gaps. Look at how the masses flocked to a young, charismatic, slick talking Senator with no practical experience as a chief executive. Some people will fall for anything because they stand for nothing. Politicians are narcissistic by default. They are looking out for themselves.
  20. I want an overnight RV as much as anyone else on this site or otherwise, but after much deliberation my conclusion is that there will be no pop. The fizz has fizzed. In my opinion, the most likely scenario will be in keeping with something Ali supposedly said, and that is to say a creep in value will occur. Many have been sold on the idea that Iraq has some of the greatest known reserves of the "black gold" as well as a tremendous amount of other natural resources and growth potential. This may be so, but like the circus elephant, having been chained since birth, that never breaks its chain because it doesn't know it can, Iraq probably will not break out suddenly. There are deep seated traditions and great lack of education among the general public, which have become a harness that holds them back. There are some other considerations lending credence to the formation of my opinion as such. Among those considerations is mankind's proclivity to exploit weakness. Many holders of IQD are feeling very weak and hopeless about now. There are those who spent money they didn't rightly have to allocate it to this so called "investment". This has never really been an investment in the true sense of commonly accepted investing due to the highly speculative nature of currency "investing". Currency speculation is generally a risky proposition and often takes long periods to realize a gain or loss. So, here we are looking for a trend breaker that may or may not occur, and there are those who would prey on the weakness of others. Imagine with me for a moment that the aforementioned "creep in value" is in fact the most likely scenario. What does that mean for us? Well, it means that this "investment" is a microcosm of our society. In a free market society there will always be successes and failures. It is a natural law. There will be winners and losers. How does this natural law apply to us? As mentioned previously, some of our friends have spent money they should not have spent. They were lured, like most of us, by the prospect of an easy gain. Never before have I prospected in such a speculative game. It has been good for me. I have learned a great deal and, this time, I was able to take a controlled risk by deciding how much money I could potentially lose by venturing off into an unknown arena. I say "this time" because there have been times that I have done precisely what many here have done... I threw money at something out of a sense of desparation hoping for a financial salvation. That brings us to value creep and man's tendency to take advantage of others. Assuming that a long, slow progression in the value of IQD does occur, it is safe to say that many of our fellow speculators will be sloughed off at the several and various levels of activity. In other words, some will be happy to convert at a penny increase. Some will sell at a dime and at some point, if the value creeps in keeping with Ali's acclaimed statement that this will take two to three more years to reach the level of $1.00 or more, there will be a point of critical mass where an absolute majority will dump all their holdings. One must assume that the predominate concern for Shabibi is how to recover the most IQD with the least upset to what can still be viewed as a rather fragile economy. If an instant RV occurs and at a level at or near $1USD there will be a tidal wave of activity in the banking system. If a long, slow, methodical climb ensues it would be much more manageable swell. Iraq's infrastructure is very weak and her people are still mostly illiterate and unstable. This entire commentary is only my opinion. It is up to each one to decide what we believe. Time and observations have led me to this opinion and by stating it here I hope to give some the ability to realize that a lottery jackpot is not the most plausible scenario and increase their resolve to hunker down and hold on in case the ride continues for two or three more years. One cannot and rightly should not take everything they read to heart. There has been and always will misdirection and exploitation in "investing". Take heart and decide to hold on. The money you have spent is gone. Now all that remains is the hope that it has not been in vain. Rise up and shake yourselves. Let the dust of rumor and inuendo settle under your feet. You do not have to be subject to it. You are NOT under the circumstances, they are UNDER you. Peace. Be still and see God's glory revealed.
  21. The NOMINAL value is not necessarily the REAL value, just as the REAL value may not be the exchange rate. It's rather like saying that nominal wages are up, but the real value of those wages is down because inflation has outpaced the growth of your income. Your buying power is less but you're making more money than ever before...
  22. Rea the titles, count to ten, take some deep breaths... read the titles again.
  23. Ali always had the theorhetical chart showing IF IQD RV's @ $.10... blah, blah, blah. It is a very useful selling tool because it takes one straight to fantasyland. Almost everyone I know who has purchased IQD spent the first two weeks calculating and re-calculating what they would make if it RV'd at "???". So now we have Ali going realistic (viewed by many as negative) and saying it is going to be a process --- A process that will unfold over time. What if he is now "reverse" pumping. What if he has made his money and now has an opportunity to make more money by helping Iraq get some of the currency out of circulation? Really... If the perception takes hold that there is no chance of an RV popping over night, many people will begin to dump their IQD in favor of taking whatever cash they can get out of it. Many people will dump their IQD as soon as a profit is realized because they bought with money they didn't have on the chance they could hit a lottery sized payment. Let's say that IQD starts trending upward in value, there will be a trigger level where a majority of people will be very likely to cash in, lick their wounds and move on. Just like the mortality tables insurance companies operate on there is a calculated approximation based on consumer trends... Someone will make money. The question is whether one can weather the growth period. How long will people be willing to hold out?
  24. Yeah? Well... The hide still has hair on it.
  25. Actually there was a big event... The GOi was completed. It occurred inside the ten day window.
