Alsumaria News / Baghdad  revealed early Saturday, the source said an Iraqi delegation headed by the Minister of Commerce will visit Saudi Arabia on Sunday, indicating that a component of 84 Iraqi businessman delegation.  The newspaper quoted the source as saying that "a large Iraqi delegation will visit Saudi Arabia on Sunday under the chairmanship of the Minister of Trade and Salman Jumaili ," noting that "the delegation consists of 84 Iraqi businessmen."  The source added that "the delegation will hold its first meeting of the Economic Committee of the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council," adding that "the meeting will discuss investment opportunities in various provinces of Iraq and the signing of bilateral contracts and agreements between businessmen of the two countries."     On the other hand, the spokesman of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals Abdul Wahid al-Shammari that "the Minister of Industry and Minerals Agency Mohammed Shiaa Sudanese received an official invitation by the Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources in Saudi Arabia, for the purpose of visiting the Kingdom and to see the successful experience in the industrial field."  The Office of Prime Minister Haider Abadi announced on October 22, 2017 that Iraq and Saudi Arabia have officially signed the establishment of the Coordinating Council. The Council aims to strengthen relations between the two countries and exchange expertise and sign agreements in all economic, commercial, military and other fields.
