pluMmet
What the heck is the difference between the two? They seem to be used interchangeably.
Adam Montana
DAASH, ISIS, IS, ISIL - pretty much one and the same. If you want to get super-scholarly and nitpick the difference, you could... but at the end of the day the names do not make a difference. They all need to be hogtied, slathered in pig guts, and fed bacon flavored cyanide. FYI Peshmerga is the Kurdish forces that are fighting ISIS/DAASH/ISIL/IS. (That's another one that trips a lot of people up.... figured I'd toss it out there.) Oh and since we're on the topic of confusing acronyms/translations... Erbil/Arbil are also the same. Gerbil, however, is a small furry animal and has nothing to do with the HCL.
pattyangel
Thanks Adam for the clarity...now I wish I could just pronounce some of the names of these people, much less the countries.
