Gerald Celente Warns of 2012: Economy Will Crash, Banks Will Close, Chaos Will Ensue, Military Will Take Over

If you’ve followed trend forecaster Gerald Celente for any period of time you’ve probably realized he knows what he’s talking about. For the better part of two decades Celente and his Trends Journal have been forecasting political, financial, economic and social trends with an uncanny ability for accuracy.

In his latest interview Celente discusses a variety of different topics – from Iran and Europe to domestic militarization and the economy – and warns that our worst fears will soon be realized.

Bottom line? You ain’t seen nothin’ yet:

The economy is going to crash. There is going to be chaos. Economic martial law will be called. Banks will close. And, chaos will ensure.

The law is now in place for the military to come in and take over. Fascism has come to America.

And if anyone thinks that I’m over blowing this, you may recall, for those of you who have been listening to Jeff Rense for the years that I’ve been on, that when Obama got elected I said there was a high probability, in 2009, of a bank holiday because of the disastrous economic conditions.

I came across a video that’s on Youtube… June of 2009… Corzine is running for re-election for Governor of New Jersey… and there’s Joe Biden… he’s campaigning for Corzine… He’s telling the audience, you know, ‘the day that we were sworn into office, the top of our agenda, the top of our list, was whether or not to call a bank holiday.’

…The point that I want to make is, and I want to drive this home, it should be headline news – the Obama administration was prepared to call a bank holiday in 2009. Economic conditions are much worse now.

In an

interview with Lew Rockwell

on November 30, Celente provided a timeline for events, suggesting that things may start heating up as soon as the first quarter of 2012.

“And my belief, and this is going to be a Top Trend of 2012, is that,

in the new year, they are going to bring down the gavel on the system.

They are going to pump it up to soak every last penny from the suckers to spend money on Christmas stuff they dont need. And after that, after the Christmas holiday’s over, then were going to get the bank holiday… some form, whether its that or not, some form of economic martial law.”

In

that by Christmas of 2012, “putting food on the table is going to be more important than putting gifts under the Christmas tree.” Given what has transpired since then we can no longer ignore the possibility of this forecast coming to fruition. And considering that during the same time period Celente also forecast the rise of a third party in America, global riots, squatter rebellions, tax protests, and a continuing breakdown in the economy, we recommend taking this latest forecast seriously.

If our economy buckles, and we strongly believe it is only a matter of time, then you can fully expect that banks will close and chaos will ensue on the streets of America. Given recent legislation and the

training exercises involving thousands of US military troops

to be used to quell civil unrest, we can only gather that Celente is, yet again, right on target.

It's not going to be just civil unrest as they call it, it's going to be a violent guerilla war against a tyrant government, and they know that. The military or police left on their side will be considered enemy by patriots, and will pay the ultimate penalty for siding with a tyrant government run by criminals. I have noticed that you and a few others are always very ready to call names to those of us who realize what is coming in the next year or so. This is what I believe will happen in due time.

It is true that there are plans for NWO, the evidence is right in front of our faces in clever wording but most are too caught up in their own lives to give a damn. People are starting to finally wake up towards the end of this master scheme and most aren't having it. Once our rights are taken away completely there will be some form of revolution within our country. Although we out number them, they control the world with money, worthless paper that has no real value besides what they say it's worth. Technology has been advancing so rapidly these last 100+ years that who knows what the hell the military has. HARP, weather changing machines that can cause natural disasters. If the government is going to rally people together they aren't going to go door to door grabbing them. Something form of catastrophe will happen and the government will step in to provide "help" to their camps. Possibly hire some foreign organization to come over here and do it... Or maybe they will just brain wash enough of us to have American citizens do it to our own people because its their "job". Underground military bases around the world big enough to house literally millions of people. Either way were screwed, I've just learned to except it. Soon with the senate bill S.3480(PCNAA) our own internet will be sheltered and possibly isolated from the rest of the world. Who ever controls the sky and sea with enough boots on the ground will win a war. Guerrilla tactics are great, Iraq did it and Afghanistan continues to, guerrilla tactics are ultimately what won our independence during the revolutionary war. Unfortunately I don't believe these tactics will be enough if the enemy over powers you technologically. Gas, nukes, weather disasters, and manufactured diseases can wipe out millions.

JAT1980 is just one example of people being oblivious to what is really going on. Time will tell and although he thinks some of us are "crazy or nuts" we will be the ones fighting for our true freedom. At least I'm prepared **** it... the army taught me combat tactics and medical knowledge that will prove to be invaluable.

Also HR bill 3261 Stop Onlline Piracy Act. What is so hard for me to accept or believe, is how so many of "our" voted in Congressmen and Senators are doing so many American-destroying law/bills?!?! Boy did they have US fooled! I just found out that MY congressman signed the Nat'l Defense Authorization Act (the one where the military are being trained to haul anyone in to prison if thaey even smell like they're a terrorist). This guy was great! He wasn't like the other 'communists' in the House. I emailed him and said he had my last vote!

I'm wondering, how will this work with other crimes like drunk driving, murder, etc. Will you get your phone call and a lawyer (if you need it)? How will they differentiate between the crimes? Getting a phone call and going straight into prison indefinitely????????

Yes, because all these issues aren't "real world" problems because you haven't experienced the laws first hand YET. I do try and share with people I know, just like you, most people say "It's all bullshit" or "I don't care". I showed my First Sergeant this crap last month and told him that I am possibly going to leave the military because me deploying in enabling them to continue world domination. He wants me to put this in the back of my mind when we deploy and think about the mission on hand and just do my "job", which as a infantryman, is to kill people. Oh there will be plenty of killing to go around, I refuse to help kill innocent people that don't deserve it. I'm not afraid of combat, I'm not afraid of dying, I'm not afraid to fight for what is right.
