tommyboy
Doc: I'm sure everyone else will agree that we have sincerely missed your posts and knowledge. Can you help out with the following? Looked up some stuf on the CBI website ( http://cbi.iq/docume...policy_en_f.pdf ) and found this particular tidbit interesting. "The CBI currently has the following active and passive instruments that affect market liquidity (base money): • Foreign exchange auctions, in which the CBI buys or sells dollars to the market in light of its policy objectives; " This was just a "cut & paste" from my very long article that states to me, the CBI has the auctions primarily to buy and sell dollars, not dinar. Waddaya think about that? That's how they keep the dinar exchange rate steady.
