!!!Osama bin Laden killed!!!

It just came on all over the news channels that US forces raided a mansion in Pakistan and killed Bin Laden. DNA testing has a 99.9% match. The body was buried at sea.

Now, whether or not this is a scare tactic to scare rebel forces or not, this should be a huge blow to their moral. I am sure that there will be retaliation on their part, but with out a leader, I truly believe that a lot of the forces (kids around 15 to 18 yrs old) will be in circles now and question what they are truly fighting for, and if it is really worth it. They might say. if the US can kill a ghost after 10 years, I could be killed at any time.

I don't know, but I think this could be a really good thing and we might see the number of raids start to pick off in the next year. Or this could be fantastic, Once Hitler was gone, and Hussain, Gangus_Khan and all the other supposed (gods) were gone, things went back to normal.

It does make everything else seem so small: Bin Laden’s death also makes the past two week’s worth of political conversation look so small by comparison. Donald Trump. The president’s birth certificate. Friday’s GOP cattle call in New Hampshire. Even the upcoming battle to raise the nation’s debt ceiling. As for Trump, if he wasn’t already embarrassed by the jokes at his expense on Saturday night, he has to be embarrassed about all of his recent charges (“Where is Obama’s birth certificate?” “Where are his college grades?” “Who wrote his book?”) And as for the more substantive debate over the debt ceiling, last night’s news will have an impact as well. Everything looks so small by comparison, at least for now. One last point: This probably guarantees that Mitt Romney -- who has been on the fence about attending -- doesn’t show up at Thursday’s GOP presidential debate.

A prominent official in the Afghan Taleban movement announced yesterday the death of Osama bin Laden, the chief of al-Qa’da organization, stating that binLaden suffered serious complications in the lungs and died a natural and quiet death.

The official, who asked to remain anonymous, stated to The Observer of Pakistan that he had himself attended the funeral of bin Laden and saw his face prior to burial in Tora Bora 10 days ago. He mentioned that 30 of al-Qa’da fighters attended the burial as well as members of his family and some friends from the Taleban.

In the farewell ceremony to his final rest guns were fired in the air. The official stated that it is difficult to pinpoint the burial location of bin Laden because according to the Wahhabi tradition no mark is left by the grave. He stressed that it is unlikely that the American forces would ever uncover any traces of bin Laden.

Not according to the speech Obama made last night. He said that they found out a week ago where he was hiding out, and then he said, so today ( yesterday 5/1/11 ) I gave the order to go in and get him. I watched this live last night on TV, and played it back, because Fox was saying that Osama was killed a week ago, but Obama said differently.

Don't forget that in 2001 Osama underwent surgery in a US hospital. Maybe they had his DNA then. Also, if we can order 24-hour DNA tests online I am sure the government must have more advanced / faster methods of testing. Back when I was in the army we had access to technology and resources that were not generally available to the public. For example, we were using things like CD burners way before they were available to the public. The point I am trying to make is that the government has access to things that we regular people do not. For those people claiming the whole thing was a hoax, I don't believe it is the case BUT anything is possible. They even have the means to fake DNA as documented in the news and various media outlets. They even did an episode of Law and Order SVU based on this fact. Yes, now DNA can be faked and there is only ONE test that can prove whether the DNA actually came from the person tested or is artificial.
