  1. It just came on all over the news channels that US forces raided a mansion in Pakistan and killed Bin Laden. DNA testing has a 99.9% match. The body was buried at sea. Now, whether or not this is a scare tactic to scare rebel forces or not, this should be a huge blow to their moral. I am sure that there will be retaliation on their part, but with out a leader, I truly believe that a lot of the forces (kids around 15 to 18 yrs old) will be in circles now and question what they are truly fighting for, and if it is really worth it. They might say. if the US can kill a ghost after 10 years, I could be killed at any time. I don't know, but I think this could be a really good thing and we might see the number of raids start to pick off in the next year. Or this could be fantastic, Once Hitler was gone, and Hussain, Gangus_Khan and all the other supposed (gods) were gone, things went back to normal. Anyways, you can look at 1,000's of articles on the web and they all say the same, so I did not post a link Let's get this RV rolling!!!
  2. I like to be positive about the RV/RI, but also straight headed. As our staff member pointed out, that it was being compared to the US dollar, and not as an individual country rate, I would have to say he is right. If you click type in FOREX IQD on click on the site, it will bring you straight to the IQD rates. And because you can look at the history of every qaurter in rate changes ( I only went back as far as 1/25/11) It shows the fluctuation of the Dinar. It has been there for quite some time. I still think it is a good thing that they recognize the IQD, and it is still a great find! Hopefully the UN will lift sanctions and the seats get filled and we can start investing for the future after this heart attach pill. Here's to an RV! Cheers!
  3. It sounds silly, but I like to think that when president O'bama said to the American people, " Invest in Iraq" that he knows when the RV will take place, and the extension of pre Bush laws and some new ones regarding taxes and accounts, roll over until 2012 on purpose, to safe guard the people cashing large amounts of money ( hopefully us!) into bank accounts. O'bama know s what is going on with the Iraq gov. and where they stand with the RV, maybe he is helping the little guys out for a change.
  4. Its speculation and this isnt the place to talk about it, but with the growing economy GDP expected to be around 10% ahead and the unemployment rate going down bellow 9% and falling, with all but a few seats filled in the government and rising oil production (main source of income) at over 2.2 million barrels a day and expected to be over 3 mill by the end of the year, and with the kurds coming to understandings with the GOI they are at a point( if things stay on tract and dont get flushed down the tube) where the next step is to figure out what the new value will be. Plus with recent uprising and protests in Egypt, the GOI is smart enough to know that the same can happen to them when you try and dictate there lives. They know that if they dont get the ball rolling that a riot could very well happen to them. Just a few bits of information and there is much much more, but it seems to me things are going in the right direction for the revaluation of the dinar.
  5. New Emirates SkyCargo trade route to boost Iraq business Emirates SkyCargo will be transporting 130 tonnes of freight per week between Dubai and Iraq's largest port. Staff Report Published: 11:38 January 23, 2011 Dubai: Emirates said its freight operations - Emirates SkyCargo - will be adding further momentum to the surge in trading through Iraq with the launch of its new service to Basra on February 2. As the country's recovery gathers pace following a period of sustained investment by major global corporations, Emirates SkyCargo will be transporting 130 tonnes of freight per week between Dubai and Iraq's largest port, strategically located close to key oil fields. In addition to transporting equipment for oil and petroleum companies in the belly-hold of an Airbus A330-200, it expects to carry a diverse range of goods from all corners of the globe, including perishable foodstuffs, medical products, car parts, garments, textiles and various electronic items such as mobile phones. The passenger aircraft, operating four times a week, will also serve the Iraqi diaspora, while goods travelling in the other direction – to the likes of the United States, USA, China, India and the UK - will include petroleum products, grains, wool and dates. "With many multinational companies committed to the redevelopment of Iraq's economy and infrastructure, the trading potential is very clear," said Ram Menen, Emirates' Divisional Senior Vice President, Cargo. "Iraq's recovery is already well under way and this new trade route will create further opportunity for growth, with businesses now able to establish trade links with the UAE and the other 65 countries on our global network." "The US and Europe are key trading partners with Iraq and we expect to capitalise on this through our 25 European destinations and services to Houston, San Francisco, LA and New York." "In addition, with speedy delivery guaranteed to hundreds of other points through an extensive network of interline and overland freighting partners, Emirates SkyCargo looks forward to connecting Iraq to the world and contributing to its continued growth." Basra will be the first route to be added to the Emirates network in 2011, becoming the airline's 110th international destination. Geneva and Copenhagen will follow on 1st June and 1st August respectively and as the airline's fleet of 152 aircraft grows after the delivery of several of the 200 aircraft it has on order, further route announcements are expected. The service will operate in a three-class configuration - First Class, Business Class and Economy Class - on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday and in a two-class configuration - Business Class and Economy Class - on Mondays. EK945 will depart Dubai at 13:45 hours and touch down at Basra International Airport at 14:45 hours the same day. At 16:15 hours, return flight EK 946 will depart Basra touching down in Dubai at 19:10 hours. The service connects seamlessly with key industry hubs in the US and Europe. Emirates SkyCargo Emirates' 152-strong fleet is one of the youngest in the skies. Emirates SkyCargo's fleet includes seven freighters (three Boeing 747-400Fs, two 747-400ERFs and two 777Fs) and now serves 109 destinations in 65 countries on six continents. In the 2009-10 financial year, Emirates SkyCargo carried 1.6 million tonnes of cargo, an improvement of 12.2 per cent over the year's previous 1.4 million tonnes. Cargo revenue, at AED 6.3 billion (US$ 1.7 billion), including mail and courier, contributed 17.2 percent of the airline's total transport revenue. In 2010, the carrier has already won a clutch of awards: ‘Cargo Airline of the Year', ‘Best Cargo Airline to the Middle East' and ‘Best All Cargo Airline' at the prestigious Cargo Airline of the Year Awards 2009 from Air Cargo News. It was bestowed the Gold Award at the Annual Air Cargo Excellence Awards at the IATA World Cargo Symposium. Doesnt have anything to do with an RV but it is a step in the right direction for gaining stability in an Economic and Financial sence. By having this trade route open, the newly formed farms and other agricultural lands will have another means of transporting goods to the Iraqi people and to the world( mainly US and China) Comodities and needed electronics for Iraqi homes. Oil to be sold to nations. And so on. All in all this provides a means for bringing in more money for the Iraqi people. Just getting them a step closer is a plus. When they get on there feet, an RV happens. Just thought I would share a little old news with you guys. http://gulfnews.com/business/aviation/new-emirates-skycargo-trade-route-to-boost-iraq-business-1.750805
  6. To Gman51 If you wanted to buy a new car, or fix that deck in your back yard, would you spend all of your own money and risk the chance of spending it all and wiping out your bank account? Or would you get a loan and use someone elses money and keep yours safe? Plus, if they dont have any money or use all the money in reserves, they would have to start looking towards other titles such as, departments, buildings, land, (ect.) as collateral. That is most likely the reason why they are using someone elses money and not there own. Hope that answers your question. RV in 4months or less.
  7. ( Thursday, January 27th 2011 7:58 PM ) before the meeting of ministeries today. Central Bank Calls on the Government to Take Advantage of Deposits Banks Instead of Borrowing From Central Bank of Iraq, Saturday, develop a plan for the Iraqi government was able to take advantage of the surplus in cash deposits held in banks rather than government borrowing from him, stating that the surplus is estimated at 32 trillion Iraqi dinars. The bank adviser said the appearance of Mohammed in an interview for “Alsumaria News”, “The central bank plan makes it easier for the government to use surplus cash deposits in government banks, instead of borrowing from the central bank.” Saleh pointed out that “the state has cash deposits in these banks is estimated at 32 trillion Iraqi dinars,” noting that “that deposits in excess and should take advantage of them, and be recycled in the fiscal budget for 2011 to provide financial liquidity to cover the fiscal deficit.” It was the Iraqi Central Bank refused to lend to the Iraqi government the amount of five billion dollars of reserve funds to meet the shortfall in the budget, they returned the move as illegal and in violation of the independence, where law prohibits the government from imposing its policies on the Iraqi Central Bank. He explained that the appearance of “The Central Bank has taken steps to allow the government to be used this liquidity through borrowing by allowing these banks to the acquisition of monetary policy tools.” The Federal Supreme Court issued a decision in January 18 this provides a link independent bodies, including the central bank, headed by Prime Minister directly, not under the chairmanship of the House of Representatives, and the decision came following a request by the Office of the Prime Minister to the Federal Court on the second of December of the year the past, to show a link, which raised a controversy between Aladbd from political circles in Iraq. As the Supreme Judicial Council affirmed that the decisions of the Constitutional Court are binding on all authorities may not appeal any of them, or dissolve the court and re-appointment of other people, pointing out that every party to consider any decision rendered by the Federal Court from the perspective of partisan or personal interests http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&sl=ar&tl=en&u=http://www.alsumarianews.com/ar/3/16636/news-details-.html&rurl=translate.google.com&twu=1&usg=ALkJrhhZAwoB2_csj2IahVjLKuJLtsUTgg Between the 2 articals, because the Prime Minister Miliki put the CBI under government and ministries sanction, (which violates code 103 and 104 of the iraqi constitution) and not the parlimate (which would have let it stay privatley owned) he has the power of its assets. The 32trillion DINARS not DoLLARS is what is in there reserves. Because Miliki has the power over the CBI, he "borrowed" 10 trillion DINAR against his 32 trillion DINAR (collatiral) No rates or revales are happening. Keep in mind people, I like to keep a positive view on things, but thats where it ends. I rely on judgement to make a choice. Realize that there are scammers on these posts and people will take factual information (the ones who prospare from this, like dinar deallers) and change a couple of words, post it and make a fuss about it,. Inturn that causes sales to go up (Dinar Deallers). Marketing 101.
  8. 32trill is the amount of money that is combined from banks and other profit organizations (private investors,etc.). It is the lump sum of everything put together (cash) not liquids such as stocks , buildings etc. The IQG is borrowing that money to help fill gaps in there budget for the 2011 fiscal year. In other words, to help fill agricultural and water needs, the 3 new power plants and other needs. In a way this could be good for us, one, that earlier before, the bank would not loan money but has now opened that door. The fact that they are secure about themselves in lending money to parties in large amounts means that they feel the government is becoming stable enough to make its own money to supply its demands. And 2, this gets things one step closer to meeting the financial budget which has a lot to do with the revalue of the dinar. A secure and solid Financial plan means a strong backbone for a reavaluation of its economy and assets. with money comes power, its how we use that power that defines us, if this rv happens, I hope you guys use your money for the better of humanity
