Some of Shabs speech in US Today

I am a brand new member but have been following this site for months. I am not trying to be negative at all. I'm hoping, just like you all, for the best. But in regards to this video...it is clearly not a real video. No one moves the entire video. Even in the beginning when "everyone" laughs, literally no one moves. It seems sort of weird to me.

It is just a picture over audio. The poster could not put up the actual video because of copyright issues

Video-recording may have been prohibited, but pictures may have been allowed along with audio recording.

Could be the logical solution if the audio is legit.

Think of watching music videos on youtube & how some just show a picture the whole time as it plays the audio. Sometimes, those that upload it may only have the audio and use a picture instead of other video. Makes it simple to upload music onto youtube. If this was not legit, than someone went a long way to go out of their way to present false information. And did so with great timing and knowing that Shabbs would be in D.C. on 4/19.....

Actually, you are correct. However if you go back through this topic you will see that it is actually audio only. I figure a blank screen just doesn't look good on U-tube.(lol) The audio is for real.

Nervous laugh. This is it. Just like when the Free French were waiting for the Invasion code. "It said something like - "Hillarious has a black moustache" I may be wrong, but mustache (shoot don't know how to spell mustache). But, I just ordered the Caddy Coupe after i heard Shabs had the nervous laugh.

Well, easyrider wants to get Sadr. Why doesn't he just kidnap Shabibi, tie him up and tickle him with a feather? That won't work. He'll probably just get another nervous laugh.

Nobody asked me not to share this, but my videographer agreed that it would be best not to make it public, as we were registered under the network name, and could be held responsible by the network should anything come of it. (Not that I think it would - i'm just not going to do it.)

I just started following the Dinar this month, and I'm no economist, so i'm not sure if my opinion is worth anything, but I'll give you my take on what happened.

Shabibi's speech seemed to be geared towards convincing the US to invest in Iraq. He spent the majority of the time discussing the history of Iraq's economic status since the war, and focused on Central Bank's steps to stabilize the economy. He frequently discussed their currency. As far as I could tell, he didn't come right out and say what their next step by step process would be, but It may just be way over my head.

As all q/a was closed to the press, I was floored to hear the questioning that ensued. The very first question point-blank was if there would be an RV. Shabibi hesitated silently for a minute, smiled, then said, "If I know, I can't tell you!" and laughter followed. But then he went on to explain with no certain detail all the possibilities around this issue - all of which I am not able to understand. I'm sorry, but you will need to hear more from Steve or Ray on it.

Perhaps I can cut just that one clip and post it on here - answering the q/a? I"ll think about it now...

There was also the question about the 3 zeros, and again, i'm not able to comment.

Overall I will say that I was encouraged. I do believe that the dinar will significantly increase in value at some point, although how and when I cannot say.

Just my personal unprofessional opinion.

How could you have read it before if the speech was just made today in the US During his visit here...This was taken from a post on PD...Funny you guys slam them then post from their site and try to take credit for it.....They even have the audio of him speaking posted at this time.

OK, I know I am about to get a thousand negatives but will someone explain to me how what he just said in this video is a good thing. The way I heard it they are going to LOP. This wasn't lost in translation. It was clear and from the main man. When asked about the three zeros he said that they were put there in an unstable time. He said they didn't know what to do so they added three zeros. Then he said that the situation is stable now and the zeros are not needed. Actually he said to bring back the Dinar they need to remove the zeros while monitoring the exchange rate at the same time. I don't know how you can see that any other way than what it is. A LOP. He talked about the trillions and staggering amounts. Then said they have a plan for this that they are studying. Said actually not studying, have decided and will be implemented soon. Even the articles that have been out recently have not made it this clear. They will remove three zeros and adjust the exchange rate at the same time. That is a LOP plain and simple. Sorry to be a downer or negative or bubble burster, buzzkiller, whatever but I just do not see how it can be seen any other way. Sorry.

Well, one argumentive point of view would be.. If they were to RV, would they really make it known that was the plan they decided upon?

Keep in Mind Shabibi is like the CFO of a corporation and he cant share the info that would cause you to buy more stock or in this case Dinars. That would be insider trading. What we do know is they have agreed to remove zero's. That could be .00085=.85 which you would get $.85 per dinar; or 25000 = 25 then rv and get 3+ times what you invested still ok; or RV first and get 3= times what you hold and then redenominate. Either way we win. Somebody that somebody.
