Scooter: I just started doing some digging last night

Scooter: the GAO stuff is good stuff

Scooter: but I found a very interesting peice at BIS today

Scooter: big doc though

Scooter: hmmmmm — which one — I got some good stuff from Goldman Sachs too

Scooter: did you know

Scooter: that Goldman Sachs made two very interesting moves recently

Scooter: and does everybody know who Goldman Sachs is

Scooter: They happen to be the people that sell The FED

Scooter: the US Bonds for the Treasury

Scooter: the ever ending cycle of debt

Scooter: anyways

Scooter: Guess what they just purchased

Scooter: yeppppper

Scooter: alot of IQD

tenmillion: ohhhh

Scooter: they also just became a large clearing house

Scooter: also

Scooter: I took a look at the recent Treasury circulation

Scooter: According to the Treasury — they don’t list individual countries

Scooter: but the treasury only list YEN GBP, and Euro

Scooter: but for the others

Scooter: it’s in one pile

Scooter: and they have approximately 5 Billion of some other currency

Scooter: in IQD terms

Scooter: if that were the case for the formulation

Scooter: it would be close to 6.5 Trillion just off the top of my head

Scooter: so

Scooter: the GAO report was very very interesting

Scooter: because they spotted some minor discrepancies with Iraq’s money

Scooter: in fact

Scooter: they prettyh much told the State department

Scooter: treasury

Scooter: dod

Scooter: imf

Scooter: and world bank to take a hike

IITB: Unami

Scooter: and released the report to congress

Scooter: Unami — Indeed

IITB: spot on

Scooter: it seems there’s several billions of dolloars missing from

Scooter: 2006 drainage funds

Scooter: not accounted for

Scooter: now why is this important

Scooter: because of two reasons

Scooter: one

Scooter: Security and the cost of it

Scooter: and two

Scooter: where the HeXX did it go

Scooter: lol

kaperoni: scooter!!!!!!!!!!

IITB: M1 and M2 scoot … brilliant synopsys

kaperoni:

Scooter: Iraq is supposed to be completely transparent

Scooter: and they can’t find Billions of dollars

Scooter: hahahahahh

Scooter: toooo funny

Scooter: Secondly

Scooter: I saw this one

Scooter: and thought it was hilarious

Scooter: Iraq is broke and that’s why the IMF isn’t loaning them money

Scooter: Way toooo funny

Scooter: think about this for a second

Scooter: everybody says they have a budget deficit

Scooter: Do they

Scooter: really

Scooter: if they used the rate in REAL terms

Scooter: no way

Scooter: remember they’ve haven’t deployed all the instruments and have remained using NOMINAL terms

Scooter: so

Randndad has joined.

Scooter: just a couple thoughts —

Scooter: scooter diatribe complete

Great Post; Scooter has always had a 6th sense when it comes to finding information that pertains to this investment. The guy just knows what to look for. And he doesn't "hype" anything. He's not selling dinar. Like a good trial lawyer, he builds his case. Gotta love the way he puts this stuff together.

I want to understand this correctly. So Scooter, you are not stating here that they own IQD for sure right? Just a speculative guess or does you know for sure that GS purchased all of this IQD? Remember, several months back you and some others were stating that the US TREAS owned a lot of IQD, is this adding to what they already own supposedly? I write supposedly, because I have yet to find that information. Since the the Treasury does not list IQD as a currency, but just in a "pile" listed as "other" currencies, which you are correct, because I have seen that myself, how do you know for sure IQD is the "other" currency? Did you find specifics about that? Can you please provide info where we can look at that?

Also, would you happen to have an idea or know when the Treasury will finally list IQD as a currency along with the others?

If anyone else has these answers, please share, I am learning and want to read as well. I am obviously not looking in the correct places. I have been to the Goldman Sachs pages, NYFED site and cannot find anything obtaining this info. TY

Sorry: Impossible to find factual material to support this. Couple of us in trading or banking have contacts that take us into Goldman Sachs. However, my contact there would not give me an answer to that question. I believe he knows the answer; he's just not telling me.

Hmmm, ok, so I wonder why and how people that are not even dealing with actual trading or in the banking systems get their info? So, why would Iraq information so secretive? Why would the public not be able to know this info I wonder? We hear about China and Japan and Euro, ect. But why is the Iraqi Dinar info. never seems to be found in public docs or rarely in news articles. What is the big top secret?

I thank you for your reply robo. You have a very ethical, high moral contact. He obviously stands strong with his job and the confidentiality of his position.

How would scooter get this information, if even a person from Goldman Sachs itself won't give out information?. Something smells rotten in Denmark.

Sorry: I only speak to one individual at Sachs. They employee many; so it is not so far fetched that someone else would have a contact inside Sachs who has disclosed some info regarding a dinar purchase.
