VIZIOIRAQI Posted September 13, 2010 Report Share Posted September 13, 2010 Source: Iraq will become a member of the World Trade Organization soon13/09/2010Baghdad, 13 September ( Akaniwz ) - A source in the Iraqi government ended their mandates , said Monday that Iraq has made progress in its negotiations to join the World Trade Organization , adding that this will, in time to join soon. The Task Force Iraq to join the organization was founded on December 13, December 2004 , and only that he had submitted a note to join the organization on 16 September 2005, and the adoption of Iraq's observer at the January 24, 2007 , and began the meetings of the first round of the Working Group In 2007 the second round , followed in 2008, then the third round end of 2009. A member of the negotiating committee in the Working Group of Iraq, Ibrahim Zndjeli , told the Kurdish news agency ( Akaniwz ) "The Iraqi government made considerable progress in seeking to enter Iraq to the World Trade Organization , especially after he was able to obtain assurances from member states of the Organization. " "The Committee's main task is to seek to reduce the difference between the U.S. dollar and the Iraqi dinar , as well as activating the role of the private sector , commensurate with the efforts to develop the economy of the country. " He said it "requires Iraq to open world markets in the Iraq, with the balance customs tariff on goods imported as commensurate with the economic laws in force in the country. " With regard to problems which impede Iraq's accession to the Organization, Zndjeli pointed out that "Member States in the WTO insists on the need to end the file of Iraq's debt in full, and considers this a prerequisite to allow Iraq to enter as a key member of the Organization . The appearance of Mohammed Salih, adviser to Governor of the Bank in a statement that Iraq was able to cancel the debt of more than 13 A creditor commercial approach to Iraq totaled 23 billion and 500 million dollars, adding that the commercial debt divided between debt small less than 35 million dinars for a number of traders and companies, with a total of four billion and 500 million dollars, has been settled through the payment of 10% of this debt in cash after deduction of 90%, while the settlement of large debt, which exceeds the amount of KD 35 million, totaling 19 billion dollars through extradition bonds resolving 80% of debt to be sold in global markets. He added that there are few business suits, which are still the owners are demanding full payment of Iraq, noting that Iraq is in such cases in international courts, through a committee of the Iraqi Justice Ministry. He pointed out that Iraq could also write off 100 billion Paris Club debt amounting to 140 billion dollars after they signed individually with each of these countries the Convention to reduce Iraq's debt by 80%, pointing out that there are some countries of the Paris Club has signed an agreement with Iraq to write off 100% of the debt direction of Iraq.
