The ministry said in a statement, which "NAS" received a copy of, (April 11, 2023), that it "has begun to launch salary financing for the current month of April 2023, after completing all procedures related to the exchange regulation process."  

  

According to the statement, the ministry called on "expenditure units in ministries, non-related entities, and governorates to adhere to the monthly financing requirements, taking into account compliance with the approved salary financing schedule."

Informed source: Distributing the salaries of retirees before Eid Al-Fitr

And the media office of the bank stated, in a statement that “NAS” received a copy of, (April 21, 2023), that “in line with the government’s procedures in providing services to citizens, Al-Rafidain Bank began opening its doors starting from yesterday, Thursday, provided that it continues on Fridays and Saturdays until Friday.” Eid holiday".

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has set next May as the date for starting registration on the salary of a full-time employee, while it is preparing a national plan for the rights of persons with disabilities for a period of three years. 

The head of the Authority for the Care of Persons with Disabilities and Special Needs in the Ministry, Dhikra Abd al-Rahim, told Al-Sabah: The authority has initiated procedures to include the salary of a full-time appointee for applicants since 2019 or through the Ur electronic platform for the month of July of 2022 in Baghdad Governorate, and they have been referred to medical committees. The competent authority for the purpose of stating their entitlement to the salary, pointing out that during the month of May, the ministry will begin to open the door for registration on the salary of the full-time appointee in Baghdad and the provinces.

Abdel Rahim added that more than 224,000 beneficiaries in Baghdad and the provinces are covered by the salary of a full-time appointee over the past years, and it is hoped that this number will be increased in proportion to the financial allocations of the authority in the general budget, noting that one of the ministry’s priorities is caring for the elderly and people with disabilities and special needs and providing psychological support. And material for them to achieve a decent life for them.

She indicated that the Ministry is currently preparing the National Plan for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities for a period of three years from 2023-2026, in coordination with the Ministries of Defense, Health, Environment and Interior, noting that a special mechanism will be put in place to include the most important activities provided to people with disabilities and those wounded by mines and military operations by the concerned authorities. .

And the authority stated in a statement, a copy of which "NAS" received (May 14, 2023), that "it is not permissible to register again for applicants who have previously been included electronically, because their names are in the database of the authority."  

  

And she confirmed that "concerning those previously registered electronically and whose names did not appear, they have to wait until the lists of names are published on the official page of the authority and the departments' pages on Facebook, in order to refer them to the specialized medical committees on a weekly basis."  

  

He continued, "All fields of the registration form must be filled out, and the form that contains a lack of information or an error in the data will be neglected. The submission is electronic, and it is not permissible to review the commission and its departments in Baghdad and the provinces."

The head of the Social Protection Authority, Ahmed Al-Musawi, said, according to the statement: "The July batch will include the launch of the first batch for families who have completed the issuance of smart cards for the first and second meals, as part of the food security allocations issued for the months of May and June."
