Likewise, the Council approved the recommendation of the Ministerial Council for Energy (23035i) for the year 2023 regarding the use of gas as fuel for transport vehicles, which stipulates that the Ministry of Finance will provide financial support by disbursing annual support amounts provided by the General Company for Gas Mobilization and Services according to the production ceiling, estimated at $ (5,250,000,000) dinars, only five billion two hundred and fifty million dinars, annually for the difference between the purchase price and the selling price of the system only, to ensure the continuity of the aforementioned company’s work and not to affect its other activities, after the approval of the Federal General Budget Law for the year 2023.

And in confirmation of the government’s approach to relying on alternative energy, the Cabinet approved a draft law regulating renewable energy, which was audited by the State Shura Council, and referred to the House of Representatives, based on the provisions of the constitution, taking into account the notes of the legal department in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.

The Council also approved a set of recommendations that included the following:
- Approval of the recommendation of the Ministerial Council of Economy on confirming the implementation of Cabinet Resolution (427 of 2012), regarding securing the necessary amounts and transferring rent allowances for Iraqi schools in (Moscow, Bucharest, Sofia, New Delhi).

Approval of the recommendations of the Supreme National Committee for Regulating Human Organ Transplantation in the Ministry of Health on the proposal of the First Amendment Law for the Law on Transplantation of Human Organs and Prevention of Trafficking in Them, No. 11 of 2016, and sending them to the House of Representatives, taking into account the opinion of the Legal Department in the General Secretariat. to the cabinet.

The Cabinet approved the recommendations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the opening of a general consulate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the holy city of Najaf, and the reopening of a general consulate of the Republic of Iraq in the Pakistani city of Karachi, based on Foreign Service Law No. 45 of 2008 and the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1963.

On the occasion of World Environment Day, corresponding to June 5, 2023, and in confirmation of the government's escalating approach to increasing the momentum of environmental and climate action, as an important priority in the government program, and with the support and guidance of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Environment launched a strategy to reduce environmental pollution, which included procedures and projects Present and future that can be implemented and achieve the strategic goals to protect air, water and soil quality, control chemical, radioactive and biological pollution, optimal waste management, move to renewable energy and reduce control of emissions from the energy and industry sector, in addition to strengthening the institutional, legal and regulatory framework and adopting a participatory approach in implementation , including the private sector and civil society organizations, and all efforts aimed at reducing environmental pollution.
