The first circumnavigation of the globe by air was achieved in 1924 by a team of aviators from the U.S. Army Air Service. The trip lasted 175 days, covered approximately 27,000 miles, and included landings in 22 different countries. Honestly, I don't spend the energy to go past the Bible.

I became a Christian after being the exact opposite.

Back when I discharged from the Army we all had the "1000 yard stare", it was just something you dealt with.

I spent a few decades not dealing with it very well.

Not getting into details, but I watched as a possessed guys demon took over, and unintentionally spoke to that demon.

I realized that there was in fact actual entities on the earth.

That guided me to accept Jesus, which changed my very existence.

Which is why I don't bother wasting time on UFO's and such either.

I know what really matters, and everything else is only a distraction.

I'm certainly not planning on building my own spaceship anyway.

I have seen plenty of visual evidence to satisfy my belief that I live on a globe Earth. I am waiting for that other evidence and then if proven true I would consider the alternatives.

 @nstoolman1I very much like you and would never attempt to disparag your opinions. So please forgive me this minor discretion. I truly doubt you would consider any alternatives on this subject. Like so many people your mind has been made up. A lifetime of mental programming will do that to most people. So allow me, if you will, a little prowess. 

There's a political figure in today's world whom nearly 80% of Americans believe has been sent by God himself to, " save us from the Nazi Fascist ", destroying our country. Heck, even I kinda love him. But I'm not a fanatic. I'm programed biologicaly to question anything which appears abnormal. 

So what will your opinion be if said political figure was, " wounded in the head," and SUDDENLY Resurrected 3 days later? Would you willingly accept the worldwide belief that he's Christ returning for his church? 

 

And if not, why? The answer to my querie is in my question. I don't believe someone like you would believe. It is simply too much to blindly accept at face value. But you and I both know most of humanity would believe.

For the subject matter at hand here, how could anyone deny the sun and moon rising and setting? Who can deny the star field rotating around a specific point in the sky at night? Who can deny there are specific and different star field pole points contrasted in the Northern and Southern Hemispheric star fields?

 

Aren’t these simple personal observations anyone can view on their own and be consistently the same personal observations?

I have been to both South Africa and Botswana in the Southern Hemisphere and viewed the star field.

 

The Southern Hemisphere star field is very different from the Northern Hemisphere star field.

 

I could see the main beam of the Southern Cross rotating and pointing to a specific point in the Southern Hemispheric star field as the early night time hours passed. The star field rotated clockwise as the early night time hours passed.

 

Opposite the star field rotation in the Northern Hemisphere that rotates counter clockwise.

 

Around Polaris.

 

So, obviously, there really are two opposing star fields with two specific Spherical (Geoidal) Earth Pole Points in the sky. One in the Northern Hemispheric star field and the other in the Southern Hemispheric star field.

The only alternative proof that I would be willing to look at would be a valid photo of all or most of the continents in one picture. I don't believe the Gleason map because it is from the imagination of a man who has not actually map it out.
