The Company Registration Department, in the Ministry of Commerce, decided to approve increasing the capital of the Warka Bank for Investment and Finance to 271.6 billion dinars. 
According to an official document obtained by Al-Iqtisad News, the legal procedures to increase the capital of Warka Bank from 105 billion dinars to 271.6 billion dinars have been completed. 
She added that new shares were issued worth 166.5 billion dinars, the value of each share being one dinar.

i remember back in 2019 they asked me if i wanted to increase share holdings and asked all customers to commit to buying shares....looks they are still alive and about to expand...

yeah in 2018 the cbi allowed warka to offer shares to clients but iirc it didn't go anywhere and no new shares were bought or issued. I'm surprised there is no news of this on the warka website...

 

Way back when Warka had in place the banking system the rest of Iraq is trying to get...atm's, mastercard, swift, lotsa branches...

 

This news does get my hopes up again that we might just get our money back. GO WARKA! 🙏

i think tat they have been waiting for this moment since they offered us shares back in 2018-2019.....the only way is through subscription..
