Ahmed Mulla Talal, a spokesman for Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi, confirmed that the latter had directed the termination of the assignment of an employee of the relatives of the Minister of Transport Nasser al-Shalabi and his referral to the investigation.

Mulla Talal added during the weekly press conference that "the incident of the plane's delayed flight to Lebanon was the subject of great attention from the Prime Minister."

He continued, "The appointment of the director of airlines was in violation of Diwani's order regarding restricting these positions to the Prime Minister," noting that "the Prime Minister directed the termination of the assignment of an employee of the relatives of the Minister of Transport and his referral to the investigation because of the delay of the flight."

Mulla Talal stressed that "the prime minister was directed to comply fully and completely with flight times and according to the scheduled schedules."

He pointed out that "the attack on the incident does not represent the security establishment, and it is an individual act."

He pointed out that "Al-Kazimy directed the ministers who failed to disclose their financial accounts to present it as soon as possible to the Commission of Integrity."

Mulla Talal stressed that "Al-Kazemi directed all ministries and institutions to form a working group to secure visits in the month of Muharram."
