Al-Khalidi added, "We also call upon the same authorities to investigate the content of the Integrity Commission document - Investigation Department dated 31/12/2019, entitled to the Prime Minister's Office regarding an investigation of the information contained in the authority's book about the existence of corruption allegations in the Kurdistan region, and as the document indicated that The total damages resulting from the quantities of oil spent by the Kurdistan region, and the region's government did not pay them to the Iraqi government, amounted to more than (128) billion dollars - abundant and twenty eight billion dollars."

He added, "This document and the official letter issued by the Integrity Commission sent copies of it to the Iraq Money Recovery Fund and to the Ministry of Oil and the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau." He continued, "It is known that the Kurdistan Regional Government has received during the previous years allocations from the federal public budget and its operational and investment divisions, which means that the revenues of selling oil produced in the region, which this document referred to, were not spent or spent on the institutions and departments of the region or its employees, given that all expenses These entities are monitored in the federal budget, so the fate of these funds must be investigated and the constitutional texts applied in the way they are distributed to all Iraqis according to the constitutional principle (oil and gas belongs to the customary people).

Al-Khalidi pointed out that "this resource confirms the fact that we have always been alerted that Iraq possesses a lot of resources that, if managed honestly, will ensure the achievement of luxury for all of its citizens." And that "not delivering these revenues to the public treasury throughout these years and not spending them on the citizens of the Kurdistan region means that influential parties are those who have acted or have seized these public wealth, and the responsibility of the government, parliament, and oversight bodies in general is to recover them, recover them, and spend them in financing the large deficit faced by the federal budget."

Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed newspaper revealed, on Saturday, that the political forces in Baghdad raised the ceiling of demands in front of the Kurdish delegation negotiating the salaries of employees, indicating that Baghdad is determined to open a federal port in Kurdistan under its authority as well as open the file to export oil to Israel.

The newspaper, in a report seen by the information, quoted political sources as saying, "The Kurdish delegation that visited Baghdad earlier this week was surprised by an increase in the demands ceiling." She added, “Baghdad has asked the Kurdistan Regional Authorities to hand over Baghdad all the oil imports from the region, and not be satisfied with revenues of 250 thousand barrels per day as in previous agreements, in exchange for launching Kurdistan’s share of the federal state’s budget.”

The sources pointed out that Iraqi officials also called for the opening of a new outlet with Turkey within the borders of the Kurdistan region and for all the outlets to be subject to the authority of the federal state, as stipulated in the constitution.   In addition to requesting statements of oil exports from the region since 2014 and their destination, with the topic of reports confirming the arrival of Iraqi oil exported from the region's fields through Turkish ports to the Israeli occupation in occupied Palestine.

The newspaper pointed out that "despite the holding of four rounds of dialogue between the Iraqi government in Baghdad and the Kurdistan Regional Government in Erbil, since mid-February, with the aim of reaching understandings on the contentious issues between the two sides, these dialogues did not achieve any progress after the complexity Discussions are the result of increasing the ceiling of demands by officials in Baghdad, the region’s rejection of these demands, which were the desire of the federal government to control all oil resources, revenue from border points in Kurdistan, as well as disputes over outstanding traditional issues, such as conditions in the disputed areas, and salaries of regional employees.
