The financial advisor to the Iraqi government, Dr. Mazhar Muhammad Salih, said that during the war against ISIS, Iraq borrowed $ 13 billion.
Saleh added in his speech during a symposium " IMF warnings and financial policy reform" attended by Al-Iqtisad News, that the war against ISIS has made Iraq borrow no more than $ 13 billion from the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, European countries, and others.
He stressed that the external debt of Iraq currently amounts to 37  billion dollars and also includes the debts of the Paris Club.
