Najaf Governor Luay al-Yasiri said on Sunday that Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi agreed to hold a meeting of the Council of Ministers in the province, while pointed out that Abdul Mahdi promised to complete all the projects stalled in the province.

In a statement received by Alsumaria News, al-Yasiri said in a statement that he met with Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi in Baghdad. The meeting discussed the security and service files in the province and the support of the federal government for the local government in Najaf and supporting the service projects in the Old City. He added that "Abdul-Mahdi promised to complete all the projects stalled in the province during the past years, including the German hospital and rehabilitation of the Sea of Najaf," adding that "will also strengthen and support the security sector in the province that Najaf is a special reality of the presence of the shrine of Imam Amir of believers and peace be upon him Religious and historical diversity. " 

Yasiri offered "a proposal to the Prime Minister to hold a meeting of the Council of Ministers in the province of Najaf to stand on the ground on the work of the province and needs of various projects, especially service, construction, health and agricultural," explaining that "Abdul Mahdi responded to the proposal."
