Butifldrm
2018-11-27 BY SOTALIRAQ The Supreme Council attacks Saudi Arabia: Iraq loses 15 trillion dinars a year because of it The leader of the Supreme Council Baqir al-Zubaidi on Monday accused Saudi Arabia of causing the loss of Iraq 15 trillion dinars annually because of its policy to flood the market with oil. "Saudi Arabia is providing the first tax on the case of the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, at the request of US President Donald Trump, to increase its oil exports, which affects oil prices, which recently jumped about $ 80 a barrel," Zubaidi said in a statement. "Iraq has sensed this increase well, but it quickly reverted back to less than $ 60 because Riyadh pumped large amounts of oil into the market, just because Trump was angry speeches days ago on the rise in oil prices," Zubaidi said. Zubaidi considered this step "a new war alternative to the war of fatwas, bombing and explosions," noting that "Iraq is losing about 15 trillion annually because of the manipulation of Saudi oil prices." Zubaidi, the House of Representatives and the Iraqi government to "reduce the price of oil set in the budget of 2019 to $ 50 at least instead of $ 56," calling at the same time the Iraqi government to "hold an emergency meeting of the Organization of the OPEC and to complain against those who caused the dumping of the oil market, The supply has become bigger than demand, which is causing the loss of oil producing countries to billions of dollars. King Bean
Hmmm. Maybe this guy forgets that Iraq was 'exempt' from output limits these past few years. So what happened to all the 'surplus' dollars after the price shot up most of 2018 ?? And where is all the money going that countries like Russia, Korea and Japan are throwing at Iraq to 'fix' the infrastructure?? Less he forgets about all the BILLIONS that Maliki stole, the CBI auctions that are a front for political theft and the fact only little fish have been convicted of stealing the counties wealth. After a while, I'm guessing, all everybody hears from these guys (and gals) is blah, blah, blah. Sorry....not sorry for you Iraq. 2 1
pontiyak
This pizzing match between the US and UAE has got to stop. They are using oil as a weapon and it's causing unprecedented economic pain around the world. Canada (Alberta) ranks anywhere between 4th and 8th in world oil production, but once again current world prices for a barrel of oil have dropped to around $60/bbl. The reason now is because the UAE is flooding the market. Sadly oil from Alberta is only selling for $10/bbl. I have no idea why ? It has decimated our local economy and all but wiped out my business. All have left is the glimmer of hope that the Dinar does some sort of small RV. The best things in life RV All the best. yak
Donziman
KB is right on. The whole un coalition and others have done nothing but throw money and man power in to Iraq to help the population but the leaders continue to steal all financial contributions and send the money out of the country for their own personal cause. Buy expensive realestate or support some terrorist group
