Iraqi "vacation Plan"

The GOI has 2 or 3 times the number of employees than needed. Unchecked expansion thru the green years, when they had more income than they knew what to do with. It seems that like many governments  they expected to be jobs for life , even if the need was no longer there.

The vacation plan as they are calling it is " managed attrition. Getting people to leave their positions over time and not replace them. Too much nepotism to be able to flat out fire people .. Finding the technocrats requires removing dead wood

I really do miss Rock/Paper/Scissors, Auntyem, STDinar, Ms Rich, Unabletotellthetruthfullone, & others and their  ummm Rich/ questionable "family/friends/church members" stories, that sooooooo tugged at the DV members heartstrings similar to pumper made up malarkey . Ahhhhhhhhhhh the good ol days

I miss some of them too, CAZ.  Maybe they are reading but have nothing to add... That's OK ... Been a long while since there was a good rumor to debunk. I know you are always lurking. I know you will be here next year and the next. The Iraqi definition of SOON!

Yeah SD  when they come to the REALITY of it, the dream is gone. They just go away. I miss that Scotish? guy that posted good info on gold and silver.  I don't log on as much lately ,  Im sure I could come back in 3/4 years and will be the same but I would miss a good chuckle now and then.... .
