Thanks for your kind remarks. I try not to give personal opinions about others for several reasons. Medic is liked by many and disliked by many. He has been around for a long time, and I personally believe he knows quite a bit about Iraq & the Dinar. I don't always agree with him, but often he presents good information about circumstances surrounding Iraqi events. This is a good post, and gives perspective and background to better understand our IQD investment.

I think his RV estimate of 83 cents would represent the low end of an RV. Others are speaking of $3+. Considering all the circumstances, articles, reports, IQD history, the stated intentions of the CBI Plan, IMF reports, The GCC, Natural resources, and all - I personally have held to a $2.65 RV (since December 2009) - then eventually letting if float upwards and finding it's true value. The delays in the political process worry me a bit, and it is possible to be a bit lower because they are continuously selling IQD that will eventually have to be brought back into the CBI.

Adam has been very cautious - and hasn't stated a value. He has indicated that one of his sources in the CBI has stated it will be approximately $1/1 IQD. He indicated that we should be prepared for anything, and that it could be as low as .10 cents as a Bait to draw in the larger denomination bills, then RV again higher. He is cautiously optimistic, and has the most level headed approach of wait, and watch. Lots of speculation, but nothing concrete, although there has been good analyses supporting a wide range of values.

It's sure is interesting watching this election process. I really hope that Maliki is out for good and will leave soon and that Allawi can set up a govt. that can be respected by all. Time will tell.
