kThanks to you all for your thoughts and prayers. Was all around us here in Prattville but did not hit us like it did on the 15th. We had 3 fatalaties then. No damage this time. Our State has been devestated by this last group of storms. Over 130 killed just in Alabama. Millions of dollars of damage. Many of my friends were wiped out in North Alabama. Thanks again for all your thoughts....Wayne

Scooter: Rave on Brother. There are few who are making their, and our voice heard. we the little people. Where is there any common sense or logic in our government. It seems that when they get to Washington, they all become the same. Gov. Wallace used to say that there is not a dime's worth of difference between Democrats and Republican. Put them all in a paper sack and pour them out, they will all bounce off the floor at the same time. Where are the middle of the roaders like the majority of Americans. They run on great platforms and we become believers. When they get to D. C. we can't recogonize them anymore. What are we to do? I am frustrated and don't know where to turn. What are we going to do?

Thanks Ron for all of your hard work. Reading Frank's contributions makes one think and dig into just what is being said. Too many people want the info all sliced and diced. Congratulations Ron on your 2900th Post. You are a busy little beaver. The good thing is that what you bring to the table is of substance. I enjoy your contributions. Maliki should look back at Viet Nam and understand what happens to Presidents that do not go along to get along. Just an Old Vet remembering back when.

Thanks Rick. This is a great project by the Michigan RVN Vets. We should think about something similar here in Alabama. There is not a day that goes by that I am not reminded of our time in Nam. I was there in 1969-1970. We weren't appreciated for our service and there has been a great effort to just forget that it ever happened. I like to think that it is our mission to not ever let another soldier go unappreciated for their service, especially one who has had to serve in a combat zone. It bothers me still, but I make every effort to say something to a returning Vet. They should not have to go through what we did. Fortunately America has started trying to do it right. Even though this video is honoring Michigan's RVN Vets, I take great pride in knowing that our service has not been totally forgotten by all. We were there and we did our part. Old soldiers never die, we just fade away.

Thanks Ron: I was reading the transcription in their chat room when E was speaking. It was interesting then, but not anything like I just read. It is deep. As a matter of fact I kind of see myself in these same circumstances. It is all I can do to stay off the telephone dialing for dollars as it were. I think many of us are here to remind the rest what is in store for us.
