World Bank approves the request of the water resources to increase funding for its projects

Announced the Regional Director of the World Bank Stephen Okenberg, during a meeting with Minister of Water Resources Mohsen al-Shammari, the approval of the ministry's request to increase funding for their projects.

Revealed that the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs for the World Bank confirmed its commitment to continue the strong partnership with the Iraqi government, particularly with regard to providing support for the implementation of social protection Act No. 11 of 2014.

{Baghdad: Euphrates News} Minister of Municipalities and Public Works Abdul Karim Yunus Ansari called on the World Bank to increase its efforts in Iraq to contribute to the development of various sectors of development, particularly in water and sanitation process.

it seems that the world bank is handing Iraq a lot of funds these days. The world bank never gives something away without a return so they must know something is up or they wouldn't be so happy go lucky with their cash.  Just my opinion
