If the government of Iraq allowed someone who has been convicted to death of the killings of over 200+ men, women and children by terrorist bombings the people would be outraged.

Who in their right mind would think in the midst of all of the violence and killing in Iraq right now that a person sentenced to death for terrorism will be forgiven and allowed back in Iraq?

If it were true!!  It's was a maliki set up to get hashemi out of the picture because Talabani is old and could die in office and there is no way maliki could have Hashemi as President.  He is the one who should be taking Talabani's place right now.  The man is not guilty.  His body guards were tortured and killed, and then had his bought and paid for judge sign the death certificate as natural causes.

Then maliki had the trial moved up quickly and again his judge gave Hashemi numerous death sentences.  I can't even remember.  Oh, did I mention that Hashemi (the defense) was NOT allowed to provide any evidence of innocence?  Well, folks need to go back and read about the trial.  Maliki started taking out his opponents one by one.  Either by death or arresting them, or getting them death sentences.  Like the protesters.   Hashemi was also speaking out about maliki along with Allawi.   Allawi was called a cry baby by folks here, and he also had numerous assassination attempts on his life.  Same with Hashemi, instead maliki tried to railroad him with his buddy in the judicial.   It's a joke.  He should not come back as Pardoned, he should come back to a trial that allows the truth.  The body guards were tortured into saying Hashemi is a terrorist.  And the body guards did testify but they later died of natural causes.  Like, natural causes as in tortured to death, their tongues cut out, and their genitals burned with electricity.  Now how in the h@ll is that natural?  Tell me Hashemi is guilty, I call bunk.

Maliki has been marginalizing his position since day one.  Hashemi and Allawi called hiim out on Erbil  And to this day we are waiting for Erbil.  So, who's the terrorist, who killed 200000 people (not 200),?  the same one who is planning his next kill, none other than the PM of Iraq who thinks he is king of baghdad.
