Selective Global Warming ?

I have to admit that I am a lover of nature.....I worry about the planet too......and with that.....last winter in the US was rather warm and there wasn't much snow.......this year from what I hear there isn't much snow yet either....and of course the media is whining about global warming and how the planet is being destroyed by all of us.......(yep.....that would be you and me!)

So shouldn't Global Warming be Global?.......last year in Europe and Asia they had one of the coldest, hardest winters on record......BTW...the pictures are great on this link....

this year already... Russia,... near Moscow, had a 2 day snow storm that had traffic backed up for 120 miles on one road.....(and this wasn't even Siberia..!)

and tonight as we all sit by our hydro carbon smoke producing fire places preparing for Santa to arrive in a few weeks Great Britain and Western Europe is experiencing the latest bout of Global warming....

so......please do honor our Earth........but please use some logic when the talking heads of the news media try to exaggerate reality......

I live in Canada and last year winter was....well let's just say...not much of a winter but I'm not complaining.

Is it global warming or an adjustment of the climates around the world? I have to wonder. Areas of the US are getting hit with bad winters and we, up here in Canada, are not suffering as we did 20 or 30 yrs ago. So, why are climates changing all over the world?

I do agree the polar ice caps melting are making it harder for the animals that exist up there, but in IMHO, I think they will adjust and survive somehow. At least I hope so. I's all part of the earth changing.

Next you know, y'all be up here vacationing in the winter on the beaches of Hudson's Bay....

The earth goes though cycles! That's it and only it. NO SUCH THING AS GLOBAL WARMING! Since the beginning of this planet, there IS evidence that the earth gets colder and than warmer. The graph looks almost perfect ... good its repeated! Global Warming is nothing but a liberal tax getting scam to increase prices. Nothing less. Happy Friday Everyone :)/>

the earth has its own built in cooling system .. thats how its always recovered in the past ..

if things heat up the water too much .. the jet steams and water currents flow into the ice caps .. the ice melts off and falls into the ocean .. ice bergs float around and cool down the water,, the green house effect causes rain . and the jet streams push the weather back over the ice caps , the rain is turned into snow and the process never fails ..

if for some reason the weather gets worse the earth will tip even further away from the sun and make it even colder on the caps .

its all gradual you can say if you give me some money you will change the jet stream and ocean currents and hold the pacific plates in place .. well you can say it ,, but i will just thinkyour mentally unstable

yes the jet streams are moving around and we do have seasons of the year.. we also have seasons for years of seasons, the ring of fire explains most of it

The bottom line is if it weren't for the planet warming up, having nothing to do with us by the way, we would still be covered by a glacier from the last ice age. Their is proof of fruit trees growing in Britain during the Roman empire, Britain is similar in climate to MN and we can't grow fruit trees here nor there now. So let me guess those pesky Romans in their expensive SUV's caused global cooling back then! ROFLMAO

LOL we get what you got a couple days later and usually hold the records for coldest place in the continental US up in International Falls, we love global warming here too!! The best part about cold weather is the high schoolers finally pull their pants up and the lawyers keep their hands in their own pockets!!

If global warming is really happening due to CO2 emissions from industry, it will take a world-wide effort to stem the flow of CO2...and that is not going to happen. My point is, I believe it to be short-sighted (and self righteous?) for people in the U.S.A. to think we as a country can make a dent in the emission issue. We need to be good stewards of what we have, but we are not responsible for the actions of others...

the co2 comes from earth ..its not being imported from the moon into our atmosphere,,, theres a billion times the c02 we dispurse that comes out of the earth naturally .. its like sticking a garden hose in the mississippi and saying the mississippi is a man made river
