and I won't have to worry about being stopped by the police because that would be profiling.

Or

I can live at the border come to the USA to get my monthly check from the US Government

Go back to Mexico by drugs sell them in the USA then I take that money buy weapons that we are not allowed to own as US citizens from the DOJ.

Recruit the rest of the people who did sign the petition

When we cross back into America to take back our country

We will be wearing shirts that say American Tax Dollars At Work.

We won’t have to worry about any police intervention that would be profiling

Or

This movement turns into something that allows us to take back our Government

We throw out those who signed the petition to have us thrown out for signing a petition

We close down the border we enact immigration reform we keep those illegal aliens

Who work Mexico keeps the welfare bunch and the US wins.

Or to me the worst thing that can happen is this thing fizzles out and every thing remains

So as you can see as of this posting I am finding it hard to find a down side to signing a petition to Secede.

Yeah, TPS, you forgot you don't need "papers" to get into the US. Like cris said, if you know what you're doing, you can come & go as you please. The illegals voluntarily come and go numerous times a year - maybe even monthly. So yeah, let the idiots that are signing the petition to strip us of our citizenship just try.

I love Jose's suggestions - the funny thing is that I agree with them. May be humor to alot of you guys, but there's alot of truth & possibilities intertwined in there. I don't see a down side to signing that petition either. Our freedoms are being stripped away daily and alot of Americans are like the proverbial frog sitting in the pot of boiling water - most don't even notice. And if they do notice, they really don't seem to mind at all. After all, they are getting their necessities (and more) handed to them on a silver platter and aren't worried about their freedoms - at least for now they aren't worried. By the time they realized what's happening, their goose will be cooked.

Wake up, America! Signing that petition for whatever state you live in is making a statement of dissatisfaction about where this country is headed. It's not a contest about who won, who lost, who's unhappy, etc etc. We are all going down the tubes fast, regardless of how you voted.

All too true. When I fly back to the states I fly into Mexico and cross from there. Show them my "Thai" drivers licence and thats enough. Never mind the fact that Im 6 foot 3 and white. Beats the nazis at LAX.
