Luigi1
From Another Site...UNSC Iraq/Kuwait High Level Coordinator Mandate Meeting Scheduled For Mid-June 2012. The following chart illustrates the United Nations Security Council Mandate Cycle on Iraqi issues. The Iraq/Kuwait High Level Coordinator report discusses the relationship between Iraq and Kuwait as well as the accomplishments, efforts, recommendations and/or areas of concern regarding the outstanding issues between the two countries as directed by the United Nations. The Iraq/Kuwait High Level Coordinator report is due every six months as mandated by the UNSC. A meeting to discuss the report’s conclusions and recommendations is typically scheduled within a week of the report. It would appear the USNC Iraq/Kuwait High-Level Coordinator mandate meeting is scheduled (tentatively) for June 15, 2012. What is your raction? robinjp
I think that date is meaningless. Their schedule goes all the way to 2016. As long as Iraq is under CH 7, they keep these meetings going. I think Iraq can get out any time whatever corruption is keeping them in Ch 7 decides to let them out-------and it must be corruption. They are as about as threatening to world peace as a kitten right now. Sorry if I sound cynical but this whole Ch 7 thing seems absurd at this point. It is just a big money game........my opinion.
