Patriotic_mess
You think Chapter 7 done with this!! All but the Official Announcement!! JMO With debts being paid and border issues being fixed I hope it does mean we're waiting for an announcement. Maybe why that's the Summit is so big for them, they will officially announce it there, but if that were to happen I think we would see a rate change before. It is worth mentioning that the Iraqi Jewish Archive is a some of the documents, including religious books, rolls of paper and old scraps of paper Mtverwqh ranging up to total of 3846 pieces talking about the ancient Iraqi Jewish community that was living in Iraq and was one of the components of Iraqi society at the time. The Iraqi Jewish community? I was not aware of this and wonder how and why they live in an area where everyone hates them.
unirod
The ambassador is no doubt enquiring about the missing Kuwaiti archives that sadaam stole during his invasion of Kuwait. The Jewish archives are just a MINOR part of his visit. You can believe that our government would conveniently hold such archives to make sure Iraq agrees to ALL UN Sanction requirements. mcuman
Last summer a small article appeared on Yahoo about the discovery of documents, composed mostly of microfilm, in a cistern in Baghdad. The location of the find was near the former leaders' palace. From the pictures, it was clearly not a cistern, but a septic tank, the ultimate form of insult in the ME. They were very carefully removed and flown immediately to Langley, Va. and turned over to the CIA. There a team of dedicated individuals worked tirelessly on the restoration of those documents and given the condition of the documents, a very nasty job. Nothing more was said or written. One need not be a genius to connect these dots or fill in the blanks. No thanks has been given for the work of this agency or those folks for their efforts.
