I would lean toward it being made up. Currency design is a pretty specialized field and it is my experience that in such cases most consultants are engaged from personal referrals. While I don't remotely buy the idea that the worlds central banks are all controlled by the Rothschild's, central bankers certainly form a pretty tight old-boy network. I'm sure Shabibi only has to ask his buddies at the Fed or IMF or World Bank etc for a list of the currency designers most recently used to get the short list. So I don't think such a position would ever need to be generally advertised. On the other hand I see little point in faking such a thing. So color me skeptical but uncertain.
