  1. I have account there as well...............I have sent an email to Mr Issa and CBI to confirm these news stories so if I get a reply I will post. If it is true then it kinda feels like we have been duped by the Warka Banks Electronic bank upgrade story as they have removed all access to our funds electronically.
  2. Yeah, it sounds like they didn't want the world to know about the surplus so they could keep on borrowing and delaying things! Well, the white rabbit is out of the hat now get your government formed and RV the currency you friggin idiots. OR The surplus had already been allocated to several private bank accounts as golden handshakes before the RV!!
  3. One that gives you a good return on your investment!
  4. Go back to school and workout your percentages!!!!! No change.
  5. I have been reading lots of reports and calculations but what is the worst case scenario in regards to this investment? 1. We lose our money completely? Maybe who know's. 2. We keep waiting but it never happens? Highly unlikely. 3. We have lots of Dinar's but they change currency and we miss the cash in period? Maybe, some might not make it. 4. We only get our initial investment back? Who cares, what a ride! 5. We triple our initial investment? You get more back than having it in your bank account currently. 6. We get the Rainbow scenario with that pot of gold a the end? We retire and live happily ever after. 7. We are miilionaires and those with Warka accounts are restricted to access funds? Highly possible and a pain in the ass! 8. We go to cash in at local bank and lose back-up documents to support purchase, bank says no way Sir? Highly possible, what do you do. Any I have missed?
  6. I like it when people break everything down so it's simple for people to read if they are using the CORRECT FIGURES!!!! You quote"There is 27 Trillion IQD in circulation", Well there ins't......................Shabbi had already recovered 70% of the 27 Trillion in March and in July he further stated he was recovering even more and we are nearly in October so I think there maybe as little as 10 - 15 Trillion left in circulation. Then you have to factor in the major war countries US, UK, China etc with whatever they have in each central bank leaving possibly 2 - 3 Trillion left for the running of the country. So his figures are miles and miles out.
  7. I am assuming that the current restrictions will be re-visted because you have to think $5,000 - $10,000 is a lot of cash in Iraq right now but come post RV this will be a drop in the ocean or should I say OIL!!! I would imagine the daily limits would have to increase to about $500,000 to $1,000,000 a day if not more once it goes global for them to trade as a bank and still operate on the ISX.
  8. I live offshore and I can tell you now that most if not all offshore jurisdiction now have signed an agreement of "Exchange of Information" with the US and many other countries. The only jurisdictions that I know for sure who haven't are Switzerland, BVI and Bahamas. Saying that most people in the know will have offshore trust structures in place but that's not the end because they need to be structured properly so if you are considering doing something like this make sure you go to an offshore LAW firm so if anything goes wrong you have someone to sue. The information I have given is just my opinion and doesn’t in anyway advise such actions by avoiding taxes which are due and payable.
  9. I think we are missing something here......................they seem to be signing-off on a lot of agreements without a government in place. I thought caretaker government's are only supposed to keep the status quo and not actually make any future decisions for Iraq. I smell a big ROTTEN FISH here somewhere.
  10. I have just gone to the document they are referring to and it states the following:- Iraq Planning Currency Redenomination February 06, 2010 BAGHDAD -- The Iraqi Central Bank is planning to redenominate the national currency in an effort to ease transactions and allow people to carry less paper money, RFE/RL's Radio Free Iraq (RFI) reports. Mudhhir Muhammad Salih, a member of a Central Bank advisory panel, told RFI that a plan has been made to remove three zeros from the currency and phase out the current banknotes late this year. Salih said by the end of 2010 the new banknotes will be fully introduced while the old banknotes will be gradually removed from circulation. He did not specify when the new notes would be issued. Both will be legal tender in Iraq until the old notes are completely withdrawn. Iraqi officials have had a long-running plan to redenominate the Iraqi dinar. In 2006, the Finance Ministry recommended to the Central Bank that it carry out such a plan. Salih pointed out that banks are having a hard time accepting cash savings and deposits, but by dropping the zeros it will make it easier for both the banks to deal with their customers and for the general public to carry money. He said some 80 percent of Iraq's money supply is cash in circulation. Salih added that in 1990 the value of banknotes in circulation was about 25 billion Iraqi dinars but is currently some 25 trillion dinars. Economic analyst Hilal al-Tahhan told RFI that the bank's move is overdue. He said he expects the currency change to go smoothly because of the decision to allow both the old and new banknotes to coexist, leading to less turbulence in the economy. The current exchange rate is 1,167 Iraqi dinars to the U.S. dollar. No where does it state "That means that 1,000 IQD (pre-redenomination) and 1 dinar (post-redenomination) will both be worth the same amount in US Dollars" I think this is only XE.com stating this so don't worry.
  11. Okay why don't we list the current disadvantages:- 1. You have to pay yearly for online access! 2. Currently you are not able to do electronic internal transfers between accounts! 3. Currently you are not able to do electronic transfer of funds externally back to the US! 4. The maintenance upgrade is taking forever to complete! 5. Why are we having to pay to view our account balances? Come on WARKA get your act together and sort out the problems as we are paying customers of the bank!!!!!
  12. They must have a government in 2010 because they have to sign-off the 2011 budget otherwise they will have NO money to spend!!!!! I really think this is just smoke and mirrors as they say....................there is to much riding throughout the world for this not to happen in 2010!
  13. What amazes me is it's like no government for a further month then they start making friends then they fall out then they come up with no government for a further 2 months. These time lines are now falling in to place to fit US financial gains ie. Taxes etc. This must be the External forces for which they talk about all the time. I think they do want to form government but are now being prevented from doing so by the US Government.
  14. Wow.....................I know they have been stalling but nobody knows what external influences that have been forced upon the blocs from the US!!! For instance, they want Malaki in the PM job for a second term and so on. Who knows, we could list a multitude of concrens why the RV and Government hasn't happened and it probably all relates to kickbacks for the major countries involved in the war.
  15. I really don't think it can go past 2010 because they have no money! There money is all tied-up in the budget...............no budget, no RV, no money to spend they are broke.
  16. Errrrrrrrrrrrr how they going to pay for them? I expect there will be tankers going the other way with Dinars full to the rim because these ain't cheap!
  17. Has anyone emailed Mr Issa to find out how long they envisage the upgade to take because this has been going on now for 1 month now!! I think there is something else behind the supposedly upgrade as in they are taking all electronic control away from us so we can't react immediately when the RV goes down.
  18. another site doesn't actually tell us anything that we can't find out in the media coming out of Iraq! COMPLETE waste of my eye time.
  19. Well this would be a good time for Obama to say get your fingers out of your arse's and get the government formed then I will have a word with the pastor concerned you have 24 hours!!!! But he won't because he's a pansey!!!
  20. The global economic recovery is slowing faster than forecast, but a return to recession is unlikely, a leading global economic group has said. The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) said the slowdown had been more "pronounced than anticipated". As a result, it lowered its growth forecast for 2010 for the G7 leading economies to 1.5%, down from 1.75%. It added the economic outlook was characterised by "great uncertainty". "The uncertainty is caused by a combination of factors, but it is unlikely that we are heading into another downturn," said the OECD's chief economist Pier Carlo Padoan. US growth The group said consumer spending could remain weak, while concerns about high levels of government debt were also serving to constrain growth. Against this, the group reported more stable financial conditions and strong corporate profits. It forecast growth in the US at an annualised rate of 2% between August and October, then 1.2% in the final three months of the year. In the second quarter of this year, the US economy grew at an annualised pace of 1.6%. The group also forecast a sharp slowdown in leading European economies, with Germany, France and Italy together growing at an annualised rate of 0.4% in the third quarter and 0.6% in the fourth. This would represent a sharp turnaround from the second quarter, when some leading European economies grew at a faster pace than the US. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-11250357
  21. Looking at the amount it doesn't represent any of the figures that have been knocking around and doesn't even make 1 cent per dinar in fact it's 0.00665. He has cocked-up because they can't run a country on that rate!!!
  22. If I was you I wouldn't even consider this unless you want unwanted attention. Even if this is your plan I wouldn't be posting anything on any websites or even suggestion of it because it very easy for information to change hands if they really want to investigate someone.
