This is why the media didnt make a story out of this, there isnt really a story here. Only a hyper partisan political slant pandering to the crowd who likes that crap could make a story out of this. This article implies having "yellow cake" or uranium is equal to having wmd's. That is entirely false. Any country with a nuclear reactor or uranium mine would have yellow cake. Enriching this uranium to the point where it is viable in a nuclear weapon is the difficult part that takes sophisticated equipment. Here is a list from wikipedia of countries with nuclear reactors. I think you will see quit a few that we wouldnt want to have a bomb but they no doubt have uranium. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_nuclear_reactors

No offense to you personally, I appreciate the info you shared. That policy must be a joke though. Its just a box with unkown contents??? They must pick up thousands of them a week at dinar trade which sells currency and nothing else. Why have the policy if it can clearly be ignored.

Couple of points I dont understand. How can dinar trade have been using fed ex for years if they dont ship currency? You have to declare whats in a package and the approx value, I suppose you could lie but if Fed ex is moving thousands of packages in and out of a currency dealer do you think they dont know that they are full of currenc?. Second point people have been making is that the dinar is worthless so fed ex doesnt care and will ship it. Its not worthless, it just takes a lot of zeroes to add up to a substantial amount but 5k U.S. worth of it in an envelope is still 5k worth of currency regardless of what the paper looks like or how many 0's are on the notes. Basically this whole post has me confused.

Im not bashing, I love the rumor and appreciate all who share. I do however think its funny whenever this "they would lose there job" perspective comes up when it comes to intel. Yes that is what they are talking about. Look on the right where they post the buy/sell rates for all the currencies. They are now posted to three decimal places. I cant say for certain whether that is new but so far no one remembers that ever being there before. Maybe a mod can change the title of this thread to CBI adds three 0's or something.

Yes you are right, if the 25 dinar note and 25000 dinar note have the same purchasing power then it is a lop. We are talking about two different things which I have pointed out now three times so im done.

Please go back and reread the original post. I never said they were not going to lop or redenominate, its a possibility and if this article was regarding a lop then I would of not even posted as this has been discussed over and over. Yes a 25 dinar note could be equal to a 25000 dinar... but that is not what the original post stated. It stated a 25 and a 2500 dinar note would coexist and there values would be the same about .0008 $ and then when all the large bills are gone they would raise the small dinar bills to be on par with the usd. In my opinion this, not a lop, is impossible. If you want to get in an arguement with someone over a lop at least go somewhere where its being discussed.

Those of you who are equating this info to an arguement for the lop arent reading it carefully enough. The banker says they will coexist and once the 000 bills are off the street then they will raise the value of the dinar to the level of the usd. If 25 new dinars equals 25000 old dinars then the new dinars are close to equal the level of the usd. The lop arguement has been discussed ad nauseum and thats not what I was talking about. It is impossible to have them coexist at the same time if they are worth the same and that value is the same as it is now.

Not bashing but just want to point out this is an impossible scenario imo. If they coexist at the same time on the street how will they ever get the lower denoms into circulation unless they raise the value of the dinar. Nobody is going to walk around with say 5000 5 dinar notes to pay for an item that costs about $20 us. If you want to argue they could make one dinar equal 1000 thats a different conversation all together but as laid out by this banker is impossible in my opinion.
